Quote of the Day 10-12-09

I think of Mother Teresa and Mother Teresa said that we wouldn't have world peace until we ended abortion and I think personally, for me, that it's Obama's radical abortion position that makes him the least qualified for the prize.

~Rachel Campos-Duffy, former reality-TV star and current blogger for Anderson Cooper's AC360 blog, who guest hosted for Elizabeth Hasselbeck on the October 12 edition of The View. She is pregnant with her 6th child. As quoted by NewsBusters, October 12

Thank you Rachel Campos-Duffy for giving a very concise reason why the President, now Nobel Peace Prize winner, who never saw an abortion law he did not like, who has sworn allegiance to the Dead Babies R Us crowd, who thinks that PBA is a "legitimate medical procedure" (I am pretty darn sure he agrees with his wife Michelle on this point otherwise I don't think she would have written the fundraising letter for PP) and even voted 3 times against BAIPA to make sure that if a woman wanted a dead baby she should be guaranteed that she will get one, does NOT deserve to receive an award as a peace maker. Take a look at any abortion procedure and tell the mutilated, tortured baby how non-violent and peaceful his death was.

I saw Rachel Campos-Duffy on Raymond Arroyo's "The World Over" on EWTN the other week, and I really like what she has to say! I'll try to find an online video of her on The View from today. I also think that awarding the Nobel to Obama is a slap in the face of Mother Teresa because of what she believed and said about abortion. She would EXTREMELY displeased with this poor choice.

It is worthwhile watching the short video (at NewsBusters). Campos-Duffy deserves an award for speaking with such composure considering who she is seated with. I commend Joy Behar and Whoopi for not losing it completely. :)

You have every right to say what you want, but you don't have the right to dictate others lives. Truthfully, abortion shouldn't be an issue, if you don't do it, WHO CARES. Everyone has a right to decide what happens to there body, you have no say in how people live there lives. STOP being so narrow minded. I am proud to say I am pro-choice.

"Truthfully, abortion shouldn't be an issue, if you don't do it, WHO CARES."

Would you have an abortion your self?

Where's your compassion for the new, innocent human life?

there's a 2nd human being involved in abortion: one heart stops, the other breaks. Abortion has never solved anything: we still have crime, poverty, etc.

Happy for Rachel. Glad she's having another baby. :D

"Everyone has a right to decide what happens to there body, you have no say in how people live there lives."

Actually, we have laws against theft, pornography, failure to pay taxes, and reckless driving. We do have a say in how people live their lives.

If everyone had a right to say what happens to their body, then women wouldn't get pregnant in the first place. There are some things in nature that we don't have total control over, and we must live with the consequences.

I don't buy it Brooke. Tell a mutilated, dead baby that "Everyone has a right to decide what happens to their body". You can be a proud "pro-choicer" if you insist but when you say "you have no say in how people LIVE their LIVES", they must have a right to LIVE, or even exist before they can "say" anything. You should thank God (or if you prefer your lucky stars) that your mother decided to give you LIFE so that you can "say" such a selfish thing. Always complete the sentence "I am proud to be pro- (which means for) the choice of a woman to choose to... (have someone dialate her cervix, rip her unborn baby apart with a curette and then have her baby suctioned out with powerful vacuum). Always fill in the blank of what you are proud of a woman choosing to do.
