I will tell you one thing that is not DOA and that is the Stupak Amendment.... That is going to stay alive.
Basically what it does is enshrine the Hyde Amendment , which prevents federal funding to be spent on abortion. And that is the only way it could pass the House and could get the votes of a certain number of pro life Democrats.
Nancy Pelosi, in a big burst of pragmatism, allowed there to be a vote on that and it passed. The senate is going to include something very similar in it.
