Those who argue that abortion is a private matter in which the government has no business cannot then insist that federal funds be used to pay for it. Money laundering schemes or shell games will not be tolerated. Abortion is not health care and taxpayers should not be forced to subsidize it.

An excellent point and one I haven't heard articulated so clearly before. If it's "your body and your choice" then it should be YOUR money, not anyone else's.

Abortion is a human rights matter, not a private one. It's a matter of the unalienable right to life. That makes it a matter for the courts when some people try to deny another person's right to life.

I agree with you as I agree with Fr. Pavone. Sorry, I didn't state my point very clearly. I'm pro-life. I was referring to the Supreme Courts' ruling in 1973 which legalized abortion. The courts made a terrible mistake in their ruling.
The so-called "private matter" of abortion which Fr. Pavone refers to and the pro-aborts hail as personal victory has become anything but private and we have been sucked into this whether we like it or not by the pro-abort culture of death.
