Quote of the Day 2-8-10

I was at the filming of the Focus ad, and I can assure everyone that no mothers of Heisman-winning quarterbacks were harmed in the making of our commercial.

~ Gary Schneeberger, VP of Ministry Communications, Focus on the Family, responding to complaints the Tim/Pam Tebow Super Bowl ad promoted violence against women, as quoted by the CitizenLink Daily Update, February 8

Great quote! Here's another I just heard on TV.:

"These feminists have jumped the shark."
Bernie Goldberg speaking to Bill O'Reilly.

This complaint by NOW is the most ludicrous thing I've ever heard. How pathetic and hypocritical of NOW's president to accuse the Tebow ad of violence against women, but the Snickers ad in which Betty White is tackled didn't bother them a bit. Violence against the elderly! Oh wait, who cares?

Yeah, they have no anti-life, abortion agenda.

Love that quote!

When organizations make idiotic claims like that they lose their credibility.

Didn't PETA get all upset when Obama killed a fly? And even more recently PETA wanted a robotic Pux. Phil?

Credibility flushed.

The feminists that complained have obviously NEVER seen a cardboard cut out. If they had watched it carefully, they should have seen Pam POP UP. It was obvious that he had knocked a cut out over.
