Posted by: Janet at June 3, 2009 6:53 PMGreat article Jill! When the 4th Estate refuses to do their job - route around them!
Thanks, John Mallon.
Posted by: Chris Arsenault at June 3, 2009 7:29 PMThe article makes huge asssumptions about Obama, and also make largely uninformed insights about the decline of the print industry. The assumptions about Obama take on an Omnipotent perspective that is, flat out unknowable by a human being - to claim such knowledge is boastful at best, and blasphemous at worst (especially coming from a Chistian).
Furthermore regarding the decline of the print industry, you might do well to read "Doublefold" by Nicholson Baker. He, unlike you has done actual research on the decline of print culture.
Oh ya, Jill, you got the big spread, our brother pharmacist, Mike got second billing, and I just got a little gray box.
Call me a waaaaaaaaambulance.
hehhehheheh....
It's cool to get a love-interview every so often.
CONGRATS!
