My column today reveals that anti-lifers are trying to use our own terminology against us. How fun! How full circle!

Good column on semantics, Jill!
By the way, I have taken up the practice of calling the precious fetus by a different terminology: "Prenatal Baby".
The term "Unborn" seems to falsely concede that the baby is not yet alive. When we know, in fact, that it has been very alive from the moment of conception.
Peace always,
Michael

Dear Michael, Friend of K.V. (sounds kind of like Mary, Queen of Scots... :),
You're right, "unborn" isn't good. I have used "preborn" a lot, but it still lacks. I do like prenatal baby very much. Thanks for that.
Regards,
