The fix may have been in on Barack Obama's opposition as state senator to Illinois' Born Alive Infant Protection Act, aka support of infanticide.
I've always wondered what compelled Obama not to just vote against Born Alive but attempt single-handedly to thwart its passage, not once, not twice, but three times....
So with the new information out about Obama these days, I re-examined the evidence and found some
Obama is a member of Trinity United Church of Christ. Its parent denomination, the UCC, controls half of Advocate Health Care, which owns Christ Hospital, where I discovered in 1999 babies were being aborted alive.
Obama's pastor was a member of the pre-Advocate board from 1986-89. One current prominent Advocate board member is a pastor who previously served at TUCC. Another board member is a former executive minister of TUCC....

Wow. This is remarkable journalism. Thank you, Jill.Posted by: J. N. at January 17, 2007 6:21 AM
Jill, thanks for the research today. I will send it on to many. Incredible.
Too, he shares the same legacy as Hillary Clinton as a "community organizer" in Chicago - Saul Alinsky was Hillary's hero.Posted by: Gene M. at January 17, 2007 7:02 AM
Good article. Does the word "hypocrisy" ring a bell? Our Lord specifically condemns the Pharisees for their hypocrisy towards their own people.
Obama is dangerous. But he will enjoy the support of the loony left and, he will, like Clinton, garner the votes of "Catholic" women, just wait and see! Keep up the good work.Posted by: Gene DeL. at January 17, 2007 7:06 AM
While very much backing state Senator O'Malley, I disagree that Barack Obama "struggled" with his decision about Born Alive. Obama has no doubts whatsoever in the midst of his spiritual blindness about abortion.Posted by: Clay B. at January 17, 2007 8:18 AM
God bless you Jill,
We now have a complete, new age, technologically advanced set of attack weapons against infanticide. Since identicle stem-cells, once thought only available from murdering unborn babies, have been found in amniotic fluid, the argument is limited to the fact that it's the woman's choice to "do with her body as she wishes". Oh...but it isn't her body in question.
1 - The unborn baby has a seperate and unique nervous, circulatory, and respiratory system - dependent upon, but seperate from the mother.
2 - The innocent, unborn baby also has completely different and independent DNA structure - yes, a combination of the mother and the father but different from both.
3 - The unborn also has a different blood type from the mother (except when the father has the same blood type as the mother).
4 - The dependent, incubated, unborn infant also has different fingerprints from the mother, different skin pigment, different eye color, and different hair color and texture. Some of these may look the same on the surface but at the genetic level, they are completely seperate and unique.
The truth of the matter is not choice but responsibility. The claim is that "legal abortion is necessary to safeguard against detriment to the life of the mother". This argument is false especially from a professing Christian. In ANY case the focus should be on saving both lives without damaging either.
For the woman who is contemplating an abortion - let's take it out of the womb for a second. If a murderer breaks into your house and lines you and your child up against the wall and says "one of you is going to die - mother....you choose." Are you saying you would choose for your child to be killed so that you could continue to live!?
So what's the difference?
This is the next wave of "talking points" we must use to flood the media and court system. A human embryo may not yet breath air but it is HUMAN, nonetheless - and our constitution protects EVERY SINGLE human's right to life.
I might be a man, but I love my children, the four that live and the two whom the Lord has taken to be with Him because of His wisdom and providence. I also have a heart for all of God's unborn and newly born children who are the most defenseless and vulnerable and least protected among us - and would fight to the death to protect them (no, I do not advocate the murdering of abortion doctors).
Let's fight the good fight! You cannot legislate morality but we do have laws against murder.
In the love and patience of Christ Jesus,

Good post Jill
Let's remember Terri schiavo and the New roe vs wade version,
Thanks for getting the word out about obama, Lets hope he never is president in 2008,
do not want Billary or clark either.
saving all life is important just as saving terris schiavos life as well saving the unborn and protecting their life from abortion.
Well written and logical comments except for your last sentence. You most certainly CAN legislate morality. As Jill states in her comments and as I have read from many others (reference a book by Dr. Frank Turek), all laws reflect a moral point of view - fairness, justice, right to life, etc. Take speeding laws. They exist to enhance safety - and a right to life. Speeding laws "discriminate" against the act of speeding.
The issue is "whose" morality will get legislated.Posted by: Jeffrey Neal at January 17, 2007 11:07 PM
Great job, Jill! I e-mailed your article to all my friends! You are the only media person who actually did true investigative reporting on this person, who is not who he seems to be. Keep up the good fight!Posted by: Linda DC at January 21, 2007 4:11 AM
What despicable and ruthless lies the TUCC leaders are believing to have our Savior in the name of their organization and yet are hell bent on killing his innocent little ones.Posted by: David F. at January 21, 2007 4:25 AM
