New Stanek WND column, "Obama on abortion in healthcare: Unclear now, quite clear then"

The White House unveiled its new Reality Check webpage Monday morning, attempting to realign facts in its favor about the proposed nationalized health care plan.

I noted on my blog that noticeably missing was any mention of the A-word, even though the topic has taken center stage in the national debate....

But there was a time when Obama was quite clear about his intention to include abortion in taxpayer financed health care as well as force private insurance coverage.

On July 17, 2007, Obama was speaking to Planned Parenthood supporters, and Bryan Howard, CEO of Planned Parenthood AZ, asked a question on health care (abortionspeak translation: "reproductive healthcare" means "abortion"):

Could you talk - give us some specifics about how reproductive health care ... is going to fit into and be a part of primary care for women in your health care reform plans and how Planned Parenthood ... will continue to be a part of the health care safety net for women and families across the country?

Obama responded quite clearly he planned for abortion not only to be part of taxpayer-funded health care but also forcibly covered by private insurers. He added he thought it "important" for the United States' largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood, to be part of his plan. Here's the entire clip, courtesy of Americans United for Life:

Flash forward 2 years and Obama isn't quite so clear....

On July 21, CBS's Katie Couric could not have asked Obama more directly: "Do you favor a government option that would cover abortions?"

Obama's response....

Comments:

"In other words, if abortion goes, the plan sinks. It's that important to Obama."

Which is precisely why he didn't want to force a vote before he had enough votes to pass it with abortion coverage. No, the vote will not happen until he believes he can get "reform" that includes abortion coverage. That's the bottom line.... no abortion coverage, no "reform".

For all practical purposes, healthcare reform is FOCA in sheep's clothing.

So far so good.

Instead of wasting tax dollars on killing the next generation of tax-payers, let's defund Planned Parenthood. It would free up money for senior citizens' care which will be a more pressing need in the near future.

I'd still like to know, how Obama (or ANY pro-aborts, for that matter) thinks that abortion is health CARE....since when are abortions 'healthy' for women, or essential to their overall HEALTH-CARE?

Like I said this is NOT about healthcare it is about power, control, social engineering, socialized medicine and ABORTION ON DEMAND, the "Dead Babies R Us" crowd tried to sneak this through before the people woke up. I have been in prayer burdened for our nation as I know many of the Chrisian prolifers on this blog have been and I believe the people are waking up. Continue to pray believers, we are in a spiritual battle of phenomenal proportions. For those prolifers who are not Chrisian believers my words are not to meant to offend you but those of us who see the spiritual side of this battle know that "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal".

Hisman, I reread your copyrighted words about what "Abortion Is" and see what you mean about "Satan's handprint being all over abortion".
