  • Pro-Life Action League reports on the now-closed All Women’s Health in Chicago, run by abortionist Mandy Gittler (who was responsible for the death of Tonya Reaves at a Chicago Planned Parenthood). All Women’s has been accused of scamming women who visited for pap smears and health exams.

Churches file federal complaint to stop CA from forcing abortion insurance coverage

Central-Baptist-HattiesburgDuring U.S. Supreme Court arguments on the Hobby Lobby case,†liberals mocked Justice Kennedy for asking the Obama administration’s lawyer whether its contraception mandate could also force for-profit companies to cover abortions in their insurance policies.

Only five†months later liberals have taken†this to the unimaginable extreme: On August 22, the California Department of Managed Health Care†announced that all employers offering health insurance – not just for-profit but also nonprofit, religious institutions, and churches – had to provide†coverage for all elective abortions.

Obama uses the “Chicago Way” to illegally force taxpayers to fund abortion

chicago wayFour of Illinois’ last seven governors ended up†in†prison for corruption convictions ranging from bribery to racketeering.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg in the state ironically†known as the†Land of Lincoln.

I doubt people truly grasped the meaning of†the Chicago Way when they joked back in 2008 that Chicago†politician Barack Obama took it with him to the White House.

But there are now plenty of examples of a lawless president who lets†nothing stand between him and his agenda, which includes†destroying†political opponents†and foes†alike.

  • John Londregan on the “birther” myth:

It is past time we abandoned the “birther” myth that we are transformed magically through the process of birth from being tumorous growths within our mothers into fully human infants. The uncivilized confusion on the part of abortion advocates about whether newborns are fetuses or infants highlights the artificial nature of making birth the definition of humanity.

  • My Drop in the Ocean follows up on a previous post regarding the differing approaches of pro-life groups in their public prayer/demonstrations in front of abortion clinics. While some groups pray and practice peaceful outreach, others feel this is ineffective and that the response should be more aggressive since a murder is about to take place. These warring tactics have caused some pro-lifers to stay away completely.

  • Pro-Life Action League reports on a huge free speech victory for pro-lifers in Rockford, Illinois, home of the infamously profane (and thankfully, now closed) Northern Illinois Women’s Center:

The settlement comes after more than five years of federal litigation stemming from harassment of pro-life individuals and other federal civil rights violations on the part of some members of the Rockford Police Department.

As part of the terms of the settlement, Rockford police officers will be required to attend a training program on citizensí First Amendment rights, with the specific aim of preventing wrongful arrest of citizens for taking part in constitutionally-protected activities.

Forbes on why insurance companies like paying for abortion: “It’s cheaper”

Well, this certainly cuts to the chase. From
