Matt Walsh to Cecile Richards: You don’t know compassion

StadiumBaltimoreby Kelli

Planned Parenthood, as you know, has always been repugnant, vile, abhorrent, cruel, destructive, racist, brutal, and murderous, but it used to be pretty upfront about it. Now you do the same things while hiding behind a thick wall of propaganda and deception.

It’s cowardly, ma’am. You are a coward. You all are.

And you clearly lack respect, to put it mildly.

But lots of organizations thrive on manipulation and obfuscation. What really sets you apart, of course, is the murdering. You, Ms. Richards, are personally responsible for 327,000 children being executed this past year alone. In all, your abortion retailers have slaughtered over 6 million human beings, which makes you about as prolific as the Nazis, and equal in moral depravity.

To put this in perspective, consider the professional football stadium in my hometown of Baltimore. It has a seating capacity of about 71,000. I would need more than 4 stadiums of that size to fit all of the children you’ve slain in one year. That’s four entire football stadiums stacked with dead bodies, and even then we’d run out of room. I could fill every football stadium in the country 3 times with the people you’ve killed over the course of Planned Parenthood’s existence.

So, compassion?

Really?

I want you to actually visualize it, Cecile. Visualize 90 stadiums packed with maimed, rigid corpses, and and then tell me again about your compassion and respect. Tell me how “compassion and respect” slaughters 6 million people.

You’re a certifiable lunatic if you legitimately believe mass genocide is compassionate. But you don’t actually believe that, do you? You know better. You’re a businesswoman, not a psychopath. Killing is just your business.

New language in 20-week abortion ban virtually ensures an end to late-term abortions

admin-ajaxYesterday, the U.S. House passed the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act by a vote of 242-184-1.

In the gallery for the debates and vote, I was as horrified by pro-abortion opposition as I was elated by pro-life support.

Most egregious was Democrat Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, who evoked faith, God, and even the song “Glory” from the movie Selma to defend the right to dismember 5-mo-old children (beginning at 33:32).

Both Hillary Clinton and Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards hid behind tweets to express support for stabbing and decapitating little babies. Richards went too far, however, even for her…

I can’t even begin to fathom such an openly depraved mind as that.

Now the bill moves to the Senate, where the lift will be heavier than it was (but should not have been) in the House. Required will be 60 votes to surmount a Democrat filibuster.

Then, of course, there is our pro-abortion/pro-infanticide president to contend with.

But do not forget how the arduous progression of the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban only served to heighten awareness of both the savagery of abortion and the humanity of the preborn child and with it heighten support for the sanctity of life.

Good riddance to late-term abortions

The other day I directed you to new verbiage in the Pain-Capable Act, but I want to explain how the added language will virtually end late-term abortions in the U.S, exceptions notwithstanding.

Those exceptions are: 1) rape/incest, 2) life of the mother.

Backing up, the Pain-Capable Act protects children from the “post-fertilization age [of] 20 weeks.”

But, as Wikipedia explains, “In human obstetrics, gestational age refers to the embryonic or fetal age plus two weeks. This is approximately the duration since the woman’s last menstrual period began.”

So, the New York Times article two weeks ago, entitled, “Premature Babies May Survive at 22 Weeks if Treated, Study Finds,” was speaking of gestational age, which is the same as 20 weeks post-fertilization.

hqdefaultIn other words, the Pain Capable Ban protects potentially viable babies.

The added bill language specifies that pregnancy terminations must be committed in a way that “provides the best opportunity” for the preborn baby to survive.

This means the abortionist cannot kill the baby ahead of time by injecting him or her with a medication to stop the heart.

It also requires that a second physician trained in neonatal resuscitation be present to care for the baby, and that babies born alive be transported to a hospital.

Additionally, there is the “call the cops or wear the cuffs” provision, making it a federal offense if employees/doctors witnessing an abortionist’s failure to provide medical care do not report this to police.

There is also a required informed consent form that includes the age of the child, a description of the law an explanation that if the baby is born alive, s/he will be given medical assistance and transported to a hospital, and information about the woman’s right to sue if these protections are not followed.

Finally, the aborting mother is empowered with the right to sue her abortionist if s/he fails to comply with the law. Parents of minors may also sue.

Given these confines, I cannot imagine any abortionist daring to commit late-term abortions. And what second physician would agree to help?

If a mother’s life is truly endangered, and her obviously wanted baby (otherwise she would have aborted much earlier) is potentially viable, it would be abnormal to say the least for her to want her baby killed rather than saved.

The end result, if and when this bill is enacted into law, will be an end to abortions past 20 weeks in the U.S.

Hypocrisy much? Planned Parenthood CEO brags about growing number of male supporters

3044265-inline-i-1-the-millions-of-patients-we-see-each-year-theyre-not-coming-because-tInterviewer: What’s happening with Planned Parenthood and young men?

Richards: It’s one of our fastest-growing demographics. They come mostly for STD treatment and testing. A lot of places, if you want nonstigmatized and nonjudgmental care, you come to Planned Parenthood. And then on the activist side, it has radically shifted. Four years ago, half of the activists we added were men.

  • This week a Planned Parenthood in California received a package with their address as the return address after the postal service was unable to deliver the package to an address in Georgia. Some employees were suspicious of the package so they called in the bomb squad:

Inside the package was about four pounds of marijuana, baby diapers and a thank you card….

The card wasn’t written on in the inside, but was left blank with a generic greeting….

  • Kay Hymowitz discusses the class gap in unplanned pregnancies:

One way of examining the question of whether hardship is at the root of the unplanned-baby gap is to ask whether locales with more publicly funded family-planning clinics have less unplanned pregnancy. Guttmacher estimates the percentage of the need for publicly funded services that is met in each state and the number of women per 1,000 who have unplanned pregnancies. But as the scatterplot below shows, there is no solid relationship between the two.

Alaska and California outperform other states in terms of servicing needy women: About 60 percent of the need for publicly funded care is met. The states’ unintended-pregnancy rates, though not the highest in the nation, are still impressive: 50 out of every 1,000 women. That’s about the same as a number of states, including Arizona, Ohio, and Illinois, that are only helping about 20 percent of the women who need it. That sure makes it look like money and access by themselves cannot explain the unplanned-pregnancy gap.

  • Mollie Hemingway writes on how Planned Parenthood and NARAL got the Senate Democrats to vote against the human trafficking legislation they all favored just weeks ago:

Prior to March 10, no Democrats opposed the bill and Planned Parenthood and NARAL didn’t issue a peep about it. Since the afternoon of March 10, when Barbara Boxer [pictured left] dropped her support and Planned Parenthood decided to launch its public relations campaign against the bill, Planned Parenthood has tweeted some 60 times trying to gin up opposition — more than 60 percent of its tweets during that time. Cecile Richards, the head of Planned Parenthood, tweeted a couple dozen times, also beginning on March 10. And NARAL tweeted against the bill nearly 47 times, again beginning on March 10. Heck, almost like it was all coordinated.

It’s certainly not a surprise that the Democratic Party is so controlled by Planned Parenthood, but it was still remarkable to watch the whole thing transpire in real time.

  • ProLife NZ says just as the word “abortion” is used less and less in favor of other terminology, the culture of death is now searching for a term to replace “suicide”:

[A] survey asks readers what they think of the following terms: self-deliverance, dying with dignity, rational suicide, humane self-chosen death and a freshly-minted euphemism, dignicide.”… However, after mulling over the proposed words, I must say that “dignicide” has some merit. This coinage means not death with dignity, but the death of dignity – which is exactly what assisted suicide is.

  • Pro-Life Action League reports on a fundraising email from Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards in which she accuses pro-lifers blocking a New Orleans mega abortion facility of “hate”:

Cecile Richards and her team of expensive consultants at Planned Parenthood know full well that talking about abortion is a loser for her side, and it doesn’t take much grey matter to understand why. The latest proof comes just this week with the release of a new Gallup poll showing increasing discontent with current U.S. abortion policies among the general public.

And so, consequently, the nation’s largest abortion chain talks about abortion as little as possible, and spends twice as much time saying that those of us who oppose it are guilty of that most contemptible of sins, hatred. This sounds an awful lot like the “war on women” rhetoric that was — and, to a much smaller extent, still is — so popular among committed abortion supporters, although it’s pretty clear that this strategy has been a failure.

So too, from a P.R. standpoint, playing the hate card isn’t going to work. But it will surely make Planned Parenthood a lot of money.

  • Wesley J. Smith reports that not one, not two, but three physicians have signed declarations that Jahi McMath is not brain dead and a request is forthcoming asking the state of California to rescind her death certificate:

The family attorney Chris Dolan says he will petition the California Secretary of State to rescind the death certificate….

Attorney Dolan says that if the Secretary doesn’t give relief, he will sue.

But why should that be necessary? Given the declarations by three reputable brain specialist doctors and others, at the very least the Secretary should conduct a thorough investigation, including a full medical reassessment.

    Jahi is owed that.

The integrity of the system demands it.

And if the unprecedented has happened–that a declared brain dead person ceased being brain dead–finding out what happened and why is absolutely in the interests of science.

Two new Planned Parenthood abortion clinics blocked from opening

gallery_nrm_1422048684-_p1a5006

The photo above, via Cosmopolitan on January 23, shows progress on building an 8,000 sq. ft Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in New Orleans has obviously stalled.

Compare it to the photo taken by Louisiana Coalition for Life in August 2014 (click all photos to enlarge)….

unnamed-1

It appears only the grass has been cut in the past five months.

-9fe78609122b9aa3Before that, Fox8 reported in January 2014 “the lot sits untouched” eight months after Planned Parenthood’s big ceremonial ground-breaking (in a church, no less – photo, right), this apparently because it had trouble finding anyone to build.

This means the facility’s estimated cost in May 2013 of $4.2 million has certainly skyrocketed, which is excellent. And Planned Parenthood’s projected profits from abortion only grow more distant.

If that ever happens.

As I reported on January 17, the Louisiana Health Department has blocked this new clinic from committing abortions, should it ever open.

One goal of throwing roadblocks in the way of new abortion clinics is to make them pay. Make it hurt financially. Make them burn through profits made from killing babies or donations mooched from rich pro-aborts.

Of course, the bigger goal of blocking abortion clinics from opening is to save lives. Which delays certainly do.

Meanwhile, 550 miles due west in San Antonio, Texas, plans for another new Planned Parenthood abortion clinic have also run amok.

Planned Parenthood’s old San Antonio clinic wouldn’t comply with Texas’s new abortion clinic regulations (currently being battled in court), so in 2013 PP secretly purchased an existing 22,000 sq. ft. medical office building and began upgrading it for a projected cost of $6.5 million (up from $5 million just seven months before).

The problem is zoning for the current building is C1 for medical offices, while ambulatory surgical centers should be built in C3 zones. Planned Parenthood South Texas CEO Jeffrey Hons has bragged the new facility will commit 2,800 abortions a year, certainly surgical procedures on a grand scale.

Photos authorized by Planned Parenthood itself in October 2014 show it had to completely gut the interior of the office building to repurpose it for surgeries….

… as does undercover video filmed by Created Equal’s Mark Harrington that same month.

When the resident of a neighborhood abutting the new Planned Parenthood could get no satisfaction from the city, she filed a lawsuit, and Texas Right to Life reported on January 24 she has received a “court order preventing the city from issuing a certificate of occupancy and from approving a special use permit for now.”

Hons originally said the new abortion facility would open in “December or January,” which is not going to happen.

A permanent block is the goal, but even a delay will hurt Planned Parenthood financially and save babies.

Live Action News reports a total of five other Planned Parenthood abortion clinics will close by the end of February, rendering the previous total of 666 remaining PP clinics already outdated.

Planned Parenthood’s “beneficence” is like a KKK bake sale

ryanbomberger26by Kelli

The nation’s abortionist-in-chief tweeting yet another quote about human dignity from the champion of justice for all is as sincere as China celebrating freedom of speech. “Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle…” was the MLK quote tweeted. And it was sent by one who oversees an abortion empire that ensures millions of unborn humans struggle for their lives and millions of women and men are left struggling to make sense of killing their child in the name of “choice”….

I know. I know. I know. Today’s Planned Parenthood isn’t like it was during Margaret Sanger’s days. And you’re right. It’s worse. Back then, black communities and other designated “unfit” citizens were targeted with birth control. Today, your blood-soaked abortion empire kills the “unwanted” over 330,000 times a year. Yes, I can already hear you proudly proclaim: “Three percent!” As if killing human beings only 3% of the time is okay. I wonder if the American public would be okay with just 3% of their food tainted with toxic sewage. It’s only three percent.

Your propaganda is toxic sewage. And it’s been poisoning generations of Americans to believe that your billion-dollar abortion business (funded by half a billion taxpayer dollars annually) is the savior of women and the poor. No amount of seeming beneficence (e.g. breast cancer exams) makes up for the violent mutilation of hundreds of thousands every year.

Even the KKK runs bake sales.

LA Health Dept. blocks abortions at new $4 mil NOLA Planned Parenthood, and Cecile Richards is really mad about it

download (3)I’ve written several times about Planned Parenthood’s attempt to build an abortion clinic in New Orleans.

Pro-lifers, including Archbishop Gregory Aymond,  have been valiantly trying to block the completion of this $4 million baby butcher shop.

Well, word came yesterday that the Louisiana Health Department is doing the blocking for us. From chron.com:

Louisiana’s health department is refusing to let Planned Parenthood perform abortion services at its new clinic under construction in New Orleans, the latest flashpoint in a long-running dispute over abortion access in the state.

The organization received a rejection letter last week from the Department of  Health and Hospitals, which said Planned Parenthood didn’t demonstrate the need for another abortion facility in Louisiana.

“Your application failed to establish the probability of serious, adverse consequences to recipients’ ability to access outpatient abortion services if you are not allowed to apply for licensure,” Health and Hospitals Secretary Kathy Kliebert wrote in the rejection letter….

Under a set of 2012 regulations, the Jindal administration required abortion clinics to undergo the same “facility need review” required of residential care facilities, like nursing homes and hospice facilities.

The regulations require any outpatient abortion facility to demonstrate its services are needed to preserve access before it can apply for a license to perform abortions in the state. The state health department used those regulations to refuse Planned Parenthood’s application.

Planned Parenthood has 30 days from the application rejection to decide whether to appeal the health department’s decision to an administrative law judge, or it can skip that review and file a lawsuit challenging the rejection.

Louisiana has five abortion clinics around the state.

Planned Parenthood’s $4 million health center, expected to open later this year, would be the third clinic offering abortions in the New Orleans area.

That is just wonderful news! But Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards promptly blasted a pile of fuming tweets. (She may have blocked me from Twitter, but I have my ways.) A sampling…

Looks like Planned Parenthood was looking forward to doubling its business by offering abortions, particularly since it is conveniently located between Mississippi, which only has one abortion clinic, and southeast Texas, which has none.

Can’t see how NOLA PP can survive without killing – oh, the irony.
