  • Abstinence Clearinghouse happily reports that the controversial Oxygen show, “All My Babies’ Mamas”, is being cancelled before its debut and is no longer in development. The show would have showcased rapper Shawty Lo’s relationships, which resulted in 11 children with 10 different women. Many pro-family groups – including several in the African American community – expressed disgust with the concept of the show. Star Parker remarked:

The destruction of the black family in only 40 years is not normal and it should not treated as entertainment for vulnerable children and young women. The consequences of living without responsibility perpetuates poverty and its cruel.

  • Big Blue Wave spots an article from the liberal Toronto Star, which states that the abortion issue is far from settled, thanks in part to “the rebranding of the anti-abortion position as a pro-woman, with-it, modern stance.” Could the largely publicized issue of sex-selective abortion also be playing a role?

  • Michael New gives his take on the media’s claim that contraceptive use was the primary contributor to the decrease in 2009 abortion rates. There is no evidence to suggest that contraceptive use increased that year – however, New points out that it was the first year that a majority of Americans identified themselves as pro-life.

  • Live Action looks at Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards’ post-election interview with the Huffington Post. She suggests that the Republican party return to former President Richard Nixon’s family planning program initiatives.

Interestingly, audio tapes have now made public the knowledge that Nixon was a racist and saw family planning as a way to control the African-American population. Others have reported that Nixon was pro-choice in his thinking, and he shared the same eugenic agenda at the root of Planned Parenthood and Margaret Sanger.

  • Live Action notes yet another scandal in the abortion industry – this time from the UK’s National Health Service:

Breaking news from England has found… doctors caught forging abortion consent forms before they ever even saw any patients. When investigators mounted a series of raids on abortion clinics, they found doctors routinely pre-signing consent forms, with nurses filling in the patient information later….

All in all, 14 hospitals have been censured due to these illegal abortions.

What does this tell us about the attitude of the abortion industry? Both in the U.K. and here in the United States, there is an overwhelming prevalence of extreme disregard for the law. The abortion industry will blatantly break the law time and time again in order to profit off their gruesome business.
