My new role at Susan B. Anthony List

SBA-20_logoOriginally posted June 23, 2015

Dear faithful readers of JillStanek.com:

First, the exciting news: I am honored to have accepted a position at Susan B. Anthony List as its National Campaign Chair! Read more at WorldNetDaily.com. Also read SBA’s press release and a a blurb in Politico’s Pulse.

I have been a long-time admirer of Marjorie Dannenfelser and the SBA List team, many of whom are friends. I partnered with the group during the 2012 election cycle for a bus tour exposing Barack Obama’s abortion/infanticide extremism.

This is a new position, for which I will travel the country on behalf of SBA List, speaking to pro-life activists, donors, and voters to promote SBA List’s aggressive campaign strategy to elect a pro-life president in 2016 and advance the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.

This will be a permanent position. After the 2016 election there will be the need to conduct another national pro-life political campaign… and another… and another.

But of immediate importance to me, as you know, is passage of the Pain-Capable Act, because as an RN I witnessed the excruciating deaths of 20+ week abortion survivors who would have been saved had a 20-week abortion ban been in place.

Electing a pro-life president is the gateway to enacting this legislation into law. And, of course, a president also wields a tremendous amount of influence in other areas of importance to pro-lifers, such as funding abortion groups and the pro-death agenda, judicial nominations, and other pro-life/abortion legislation.

I witnessed firsthand how devastating pro-abortion legislators can be when I watched then-state Senator Barack Obama vote four times against the Born Alive Infants Protection Act and take a leadership role in seeing its defeat.

Now, the sad news. Because my position at SBA List will be full-time, I have made the difficult decision to grind almost all activities at JillStanek.com to a halt, after 10 years of blogging here. I will basically be keeping the blog open now for archival purposes, posting my own blogs very infrequently.

After this week we will be streamlining my blog to just those postings, which will also be published at Live Action News. This means no more quotes of the day, pro-life videos of the day, pro-life blog buzz, or pro-life news briefs. Also, there will be no more commenting. All comments will be directed to my Facebook page.

2009-06-04-MSNBC-StanekIt has been a great run. After all, were it not for my blog I would never have been named “Worst Person in the World” by Keith Olbermann!

That goofiness aside, we broke many stories of importance here, including information on late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart’s victims in 2013.

But times online have changed. The timing of all this is good – and God’s.

In the beginning (10 years online are like dog years), pro-lifers had to check several blog and web sources a day to get all the news they needed. Now, in combination with social media, Live Action News, LifeNews.com, LifeSiteNews.com, and StanekReport.com capture everything we need to know. And there are now many great pro-life writers.

11297838_10153274799331622_1900318693_nSpeaking of StanekReport.com, it will soon become HarmsReport.com. Pro-lifer Monte Harms has been the strongest contributor to SR.com behind the scenes and will be ably taking the helm. (Thanks also to Carole, Susie, and Josh for their help with SR.com.)

Monte has a rich pro-life background, having volunteered for Justice for All and Protest ABQ and done sidewalk counseling at abortion mills. He has also run the blogs Stand for Life and Pro-Life New Mexico.

And what about Kelli, our site’s glue? I’m happy to report she will begin working for Live Action News next week, doing much of the same work she did here. This blog would not have been held together were it not for Kelli, who has poured herself into it for over six years.

Kelli is but one dear friend I have made here. I can’t begin to name all the wonderful moderators and volunteers who have dedicated themselves on this blog, although I must highlight some special people who were here from the beginning, or nearly the beginning – Bethany, Carla, LauraLoo, and MK.

Special thanks to Carder, Hans, and Susie, who have steadfastly posted great stuff here, so helpful to our cause. And I’d also like to thank our current mods: Del, Sydney, and last but not least Bobby Bambino, who has also been a mod since we began having mods!

But most of all, I want to thank YOU, pro-life readers and activists, for your support of this blog but moreso the sanctity of life.

Prayers appreciated!

For Life Together,

Abortion advocates definitely do not like the word “dismemberment”

Bloomberg journalist Esme E. Deprez was tasked with informing readers about the Unborn Child Protection from Dismemberment Act, which last month was introduced in both Kansas and Oklahoma.

The writing experience obviously wasn’t pleasant for her.

But, of course. To be forced to describe a “technique” that dismembers small, recognizable humans – Dilation and Evacuation abortions – can’t be fun.

Which is the point.

Deprez preempted pro-life depictions of D&E abortions with a reminder that they are “common… used in 96% of second-trimester abortions.”

In other words, everybody’s doing them, so they must be ok.

Yet pro-lifers are making D&Es sound so… depraved. Deprez tried to make us the bad guys for “deploying grisly language… to rebrand a medical procedure with a new and unsettling name.” I’ll own that.

Indeed, here is how the bills describe the “medical procedure” they aim to ban:

… to dismember a living unborn child and extract him or her one piece at a time from the uterus through use of clamps, grasping forceps, tongs, scissors or similar instruments that, through the convergence of two rigid levers, slice, crush, and/or grasp a portion of the unborn child’s body to cut or rip it off.

No surprise, abortion proponents told Deprez the bills “inaccurately describe” D&E abortions with “misleading and inflammatory language.”

Which raises the obvious follow-up question: Well then, what is an accurate description?

Which – surprise – Deprez didn’t ask.

carhart closeupBut here’s another surprise: a late-term abortionist who upstaged pro-lifers with an even more graphic description of D&E abortions – LeRoy “Crock-Pot” Carhart (pictured right).

In his dissent after the U.S. Supreme Court narrowly overturned Nebraska’s Partial Birth Abortion Ban in 2000, Justice Anthony Kennedy quoted testimony by Carhart (I’m removing footnote references and adding paragraph breaks for ease of reading):

As described by Dr. Carhart, the D&E procedure requires the abortionist to use instruments to grasp a portion (such as a foot or hand) of a developed and living fetus and drag the grasped portion out of the uterus into the vagina.

Dr. Carhart uses the traction created by the opening between the uterus and vagina to dismember the fetus, tearing the grasped portion away from the remainder of the body. The traction between the uterus and vagina is essential to the procedure because attempting to abort a fetus without using that traction is described by Dr. Carhart as “pulling the cat’s tail” or “drag[ging] a string across the floor, you’ll just keep dragging it. It’s not until something grabs the other end that you are going to develop traction.”

The fetus, in many cases, dies just as a human adult or child would: It bleeds to death as it is torn from limb from limb. The fetus can be alive at the beginning of the dismemberment process and can survive for a time while its limbs are being torn off. Dr. Carhart agreed that “[w]hen you pull out a piece of the fetus, let’s say, an arm or a leg and remove that, at the time just prior to removal of the portion of the fetus, … the fetus [is] alive.”

Dr. Carhart has observed fetal heartbeat via ultrasound with “extensive parts of the fetus removed,” and testified that mere dismemberment of a limb does not always cause death because he knows of a physician who removed the arm of a fetus only to have the fetus go on to be born “as a living child with one arm.” At the conclusion of a D&E abortion no intact fetus remains. In Dr. Carhart’s words, the abortionist is left with “a tray full of pieces.”

Well, ack. Talk about “inflammatory language.”

2015-02-11_0846What the abortion crowd obviously prefers is technical language. Quoting from the 2009 edition of the National Abortion Federation Handbook on how to commit D&E abortions:

After about 16 weeks’ gestation, the 16-mm suction cannula alone is not sufficient, and forceps extraction is necessary….

Once the forceps has passed through the internal os, open the jaws as widely as possible to encircle the fetal tissue….

After 16 weeks’ gestation, fetal skeletal development is such that the surgeon can manually sense the presence of fetal parts within the closed jaws….

After grasping a fetal part, withdraw the forceps while gently rotating it. This maneuver brings the fetus in the lower uterine segment before the grasped fetal part is separated (if necessary) and removed….

If a fetal extremity is brought through the cervix without separation, advance the forceps beyond the extremity to grasp part of the fetal trunk….

During the procedure, try to identify and keep track of fetal parts as they are removed. A “pouch” or surgical pan at the edge of the table to catch fetal parts can assist this process….

[T]issue examination at the end of the procedure helps to verify complete evacuation. Identify major fetal parts, including the calvarium, pelvis, spine, and extremities….

Measurement of fetal foot length has been used to estimate gestational age after abortion….

Fair warning, Justice Kennedy won’t like a sterile description of D&E abortions if and when a dismemberment ban reaches the Supreme Court. Again, from his aforementioned dissenting opinion:

Words invoked by the majority, such as “transcervical procedures,” “[o]smotic dilators,” “instrumental disarticulation,” and “paracervical block,” may be accurate and are to some extent necessary, but for citizens who seek to know why laws on this subject have been enacted across the Nation, the words are insufficient.

Repeated references to sources understandable only to a trained physician may obscure matters for persons not trained in medical terminology.

But, of course, obscuring is the point. Actually, NAF goes beyond obscuring to erasing. The diagram in its handbook of a D&E abortion completely omits the object of the surgery. Imagine a diagram of an appendectomy with no appendix. And yet (click to enlarge)…

But here is an accurate depiction of a D&E abortion, about which abortion proponents can possibly have no argument, since it merely illustrates their sterile description (click to enlarge):

Quoting Deprez again:

“Abortion care can be, in the abstract, deeply upsetting and the anti-abortion movement using the word ‘dismemberment’ is not an accident,” said Carole Joffe, a reproductive health sociologist at the University of California at San Francisco. “It puts the pro-choice movement on the defensive.”

And why not?

  • Big Blue Wave points out the reluctance of those on the pro-abortion side of the aisle to state whether or not the human fetus at 20 weeks is, in fact, a human being. First, Nancy Pelosi dodged the question, and then Democrat Rep. Steny Hoyer of Maryland (where late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart kills viable children for a living), claimed that whether or not a 20-week preborn child is human “is not a real issue.”
  • At the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform, Justina Van Maren gives excellent tips on how to debate the “what about rape?” question when talking to people on the street.
  • After Abortion says while the CDC currently acknowledges 12 legal abortion deaths from 2008, “such reporting isn’t always recording what is truly attributable to abortion. Not by a long shot.”

  • At Bound4Life, Josh Shepherd reports on 30 things pro-lifers prayed for at OneVoiceDC, an ecumenical prayer gathering that took place the night before the March for Life.
  • Clinic Quotes shares the testimony of Carole Novielli, who describes the day she saw abortion firsthand, discarded illegally in a dumpster behind an abortion clinic, along with the records of the abortion patients.
  • Down on the Pharm says the UK National Health Service has officially fitted at least 3 10-year-old girls with contraceptive implants:

[T]he long term, progestin only class of BC is strongly associated with osteoporosis. Giving this drug to girls while their bones are still growing is therefore not a good idea.

… Progestin only birth control is also associated with increases in susceptibility to STDs. Etonongestrel is the active metabolite of desogestrel, which gained fame from thrombotic events in so many patients, and the ensuing class action law suits.

  • American Life League’s Judie Brown says that for all the talk of “human dignity” in various “death with dignity” circles, it is certainly lacking in our society’s laws surrounding human life from conception to natural death:

[H]ow did we get to a point where international surrogacy and the buying and selling of babies is even a question? Well, human dignity in the era of reproductive technology has disappeared. Today the laboratory is used for mixing babies in petri dishes because would-be parents of any variety are willing to pay big bucks for the resulting child. Of course, first they want certain quality control standards to be applied before they pay for the product. If the buyers reject the chosen item, it’s curtains for you, baby!

Sadly, the old-fashioned way of procreating children involving conjugal relations in marriage has become passé for far too many in this age of turning preborn children into marketable commodities.

This dehumanization of persons robs each one of them of their dignity at the moment human cells, genes, and chromosomes become nothing more than tools in the scientist’s bag of tricks.

Radical pro-abortion group plans “dramatic” confrontations next week at pro-life events in four major cities

stop-patriarchy-ut-2Stop Patriarchy is a pro-abortion group led by Communist Sunsara Taylor that believes “revolution” and a “counteroffensive” are needed to “radically reset” what it correctly sees as escalating “attacks on abortion.”

One tactic of Stop Patriarchy is to engage in “confrontational, dramatic, non-violent” protests.

Because the “war on women… is getting worse,” Stop Patriarchy is upping its game, planning protests next week in Washington, D.C., Oakland and San Francisco, California, and Austin, Texas, in conjunction with annual pro-life marches and rallies….

How “radical” is Stop Patriarchy? Even mainstream abortion groups have distanced themselves from it.

2015-01-15_1143So it must be pretty bad.

One example of Stop Patriarch’s radicalism came just two days ago, when member Riley Ruiz was arrested at New York City’s Union Square subway  for “dramatic street theater consist[ing] of women lying ‘dead’ while wearing white outfits stained with blood between their legs and holding the faces of real women who died from botched abortion when it was not legally available.”

Riley is the one shouting in this video…

YouTube Preview Image

At next week’s protests Stop Patriarchy plans is to show 6-foot photos of pregnant mothers who died pre-Roe from illegal abortions.

2015-01-15_1157To accumulate enough photos, Stop Patriarchy apparently had to go all the way back to Clara Duvall in 1929, who may or may not have caused her own death by self-abortion.

Whatever, Stop Patriarchy is asking for artistic help in improving the poor quality of some of its photos.

I have some more recent photos Stop Patriarchy could use, photos of mothers who have died from legal abortions. Some died very recently, so their photos are nicely pixelated. Click to enlarge…

That’s Tonya Reaves on the left, who died at a Chicago Planned Parenthood in 2012. Next to her is Jennifer Morbelli, who died at the hand of infamous late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart in 2013; then Marla Cardamone, who died after an abortion at Magee Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, in 1989; then Christin Gilbert, a 19-yr-old with Down syndrome, who died in 2005 at the clinic of another infamous late-term abortionist, George Tiller, but who was likely killed by Carhart; then Lakisha Wilson, who died in 2014 after an abortion at Preterm Abortion Clinic in Cleveland, OH; then Karnamaya Mongar, who Kermit Gosnell killed in 2009; and finally Laura Smith, killed in 2007 at the hand of abortionist Rapin Osathanondh in Hyannis, MA.

I could go on.

In fact, the CDC reports 421 women have died from legal abortions in the U.S. since 1973. CDC’s latest figures show 10 women died in 2010 alone.

Meanwhile, the number of illegal abortions pre-Roe is well known to have been grossly exaggerated. Even pro-abortion columnist Ellen Goodman had to correct the “10,000 a year” figure she used in a 2004 Boston Globe column. The year before Roe, 1972, 39 women died from illegal abortions, according to the CDC. Quoting StraightDope.com:

[W]e find that 1,682 abortion-related deaths were officially reported in 1940….

The biggest factor in reducing abortion mortality was undoubtedly the overall improvement in prenatal and obstetrical care after World War II.

The rate of pregnancy-related deaths from causes other than abortion dropped at roughly the same pace as the abortion death rate from 1940 through 1974….

The increased mass production of Penicillin beginning in 1943 was also a huge factor.

Pro-life group Created Equal plans to show pictures of post-Roe’s maternal victims [warning: link includes autopsy photos] at the D.C. March for Life – as well as a few of its 57 million preborn victims.

Can’t forget those, although Stop Patriarchy tries.

Police officers oppose converting former abortion clinic into police station

rockford-abortion-3-hanging-rubber-chickenPolice officers in Rockford, Illinois, are balking at the suggestion that a police station inhabit the building where a notorious abortion clinic was once located. Per WIFR.com, September 12:

Some Rockford Police officers are refusing to work in one of the buildings city leaders are considering using as a police station. The city wants the old Turner School on Broadway to be the new District Two headquarters.

“A number of people have an objection to the Turner School building because of what it represents and they have some serious moral objections to being in that building,” PBPA Union President Terry Peterson, said….

“That was definitely an issue that came up and it came up overwhelmingly,” Peterson said.

Peterson says he’s heard from more than a dozen officers who say they won’t work in that building because it used to be an abortion clinic.

“You know that’s ridiculous, it’s for the community. You’ve got to do what’s good for the area,” Bobby Dahlberg, owner of Bobby’s on Broadway, said….

“This police station is a win-win situation, you know. Jesus Christ himself can forgive anything right, so let’s go forward, not backwards,” Dahlberg said….

women's center montage-thumb-500x508The abortion clinic under consideration isn’t just any abortion clinic. It’s the infamous Northern Illinois Women’s Center, where the former owner once hung a rubber chicken by a noose in one window (photo above right), and a rubber chicken on a cross and blasphemous signs in others (photo right).

Deathscorts were known to cheer and do a happy dance when mothers drove in for abortions, and several times owner Wayne Webster put horse manure next to the public sidewalk to dissuade pro-life protesters and once traipsed around outside in a devil costume…

After being closed in September 2011 by the Illinois Department of Public Health for health violations, Webster voluntarily shut down in January 2012 after 40 years of killing children… 40 years….

The building has stood vacant since then.

I am of the belief that all abortion mills are satanic and inhabited by demons. Even when they’re closed and converted for good… even when “every nook and cranny of the place” has been exorcised… I don’t know… I still have trouble. That’s just me.

That said, there are demonic abortion clinics, and there are demonic abortion clinics on steroids. Three I recall making me want to jump out of my skin when I visited them were Gosnell’s clinic in PhiladelphiaLeRoy Carhart’s clinic in Nebraska, and this one.

I’m with the police. No way would I work in that place. And what of citizens who would also be forced to go there? Not just Christians and pro-lifers but others, as prolifecorner.com pointed out:

It is unjust to expect people who live in the Broadway neighborhood to go to a building for help where their own children may have been brutally and viciously killed in by abortion.

It is cruel and unusual punishment to force people who may be arrested to be taken and held in a building that may have been used to kill their own children.

Kevin Rilott of Rockford Pro-Life Initiative told me his group was contacted by both the police department and an alderman asking if they would object to the old abortion mill being purchased by the city. Initially the group said no, but when hearing of opposition by officers they changed their position. Here is their statement:women's center hiv-thumb-500x375

When the Rockford abortion mill was open not only did they celebrate the deaths of babies in the womb as a victory over God, they also mocked African Americans, put up signs ridiculing people with HIV, and spent years attacking Christians with brutally profane language both over their loud speakers and with signs in the windows.

Many Rockford police officers heard and saw this on a weekly basis.  Can anyone blame them for not wanting to reward the owner of that building by having the city purchase it? No officer or citizen should be forced to enter a build where 100,000 children were murdered. No one should have to work in a place that publicly celebrated the pain, suffering and death they inflicted on babies and mothers.

A building that may once have been useful, and a historic landmark even, has been ruined by abortion. The blood of thousands of murdered children will forever cry out.

ANNOUNCING: Pro-lifers to hijack late-term abortion Twitter love fest TODAY

late-term abortionist After Tiller propaganda pieceYou’ve likely heard by now that PBS, a taxpayer-funded public television station, is airing the late-term abortionist propaganda piece After Tiller throughout the month of September.

I’ll write more on that in another post. For now, stop reading me for a minute and read this incredible piece by Matt Walsh on the topic.

Meanwhile, abortion proponents are ecstatic at the prospect of glamorizing a component of what they support which most Americans assuredly don’t.

Most Americans think drawing and quartering fully formed babies whose wanted friends of the same age get super duper special medical care is too creepy for even a horror flick.

In advance of getting a ton of one-sided publicity for the most heinous of the bunch who commit abortions (which is not to say abortions of younger babies are any less heinous, but if most abortionists are even revolted at the prospect of murdering older babies, you know the procedure itself is disgusting on steroids), abortion zealots are having a tweet fest this afternoon to prop PBS against blowback from the likes of us…

Tweet fest to show love to late-term abortionists

So we pro-lifers are going to push back by hijacking this late-term abortionist love fest with our own tweets…

Pro-life tweet fest in response to late-term abortionist love fest

Note the time-frame is open ended. Organizers didn’t want to commit because they didn’t know if we would do exactly what we’re doing. They needed to be able to cut off the convo to save face if we took things over. But typically pro-abortion chats like this usually don’t last longer than 30 minutes, 60 max.

So please help us keep abortion radicals from peacefully promoting the excruciatingly painful blood bath of older preborn infants, never mind the extra danger their mothers face (hello, Jennifer Morbelli, killed last year by After Tiller star LeRoy Carhart), by tweeting about the reality of late-term abortion – there is so much to say about it – beginning at 2p EST. Use their hashtags #AbortionAccess and #AfterTiller.

If you’re not on Twitter, you need to be. It’s yet another form of social media where pro-lifers can make an impact – see above.

Thanks. And please promote this to your friends on Facebook and Twitter.

Stanek weekend question: What would you say to an abortionist?

Leroy-CarhartOn April 22, Brendan O’Morchoe of Students for Life of America wrote at LifeSiteNews.com about his experience of finding himself on the same plane as late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart:

Last Saturday, I was boarding a flight coming home to Virginia from Omaha, Nebraska…. It is the moments like what happened on my flight Saturday night, confronted by evil, that keep me going.

When I sat down and looked across the aisle, I saw none other than notorious late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart, on his way to kill late-term babies at his facility in Germantown, Maryland. I was face-to-face with a man who has killed thousands upon thousands of babies with his own hands, who is responsible for the deaths of at least two women and who has so callously defended his business. And I had no idea what to do.

What do you really say to someone like that? How can you reach him?

I wasn’t sitting close enough to have a conversation with him (the aisle and a woman I assumed to be his wife were between us, but we were in the same row) and felt he would shut me down right away anyway. I knew I couldn’t sit that close to a man who represented so much evil. My entire body was shaking uncontrollably.

So, I asked to be moved up a couple rows where I couldn’t see him, but he could still hear me and I prayed out loud for his conversion and an end to abortion for the next two hours. When we landed, I waited for him to walk past and called his name. He looked me right in the eye and I said, “LeRoy, we’re all praying for you.” He mumbled something incomprehensible and stalked off, but I knew I had got to him.

I have had two similar experiences of being thisclose to Carhart, once at a press conference and once in an airport. Neither time did I speak to him.

At the press conference I was more conflicted about the possibility of his somehow reaching out to shake my hand and thinking I couldn’t do it. WWJD? I had no idea what to say to him.

At the airport Carhart passed by me so quickly I didn’t have time to think. Replaying the event in my mind, I’ve always, perhaps oddly, thought the thing to do would have been to point my finger at him and yell, “LeRoy Carhart, late-term abortionist!” which almost seems funny when I type it. My viewpoint was no justice, no peace – nowhere.

I wrote on the blog about sitting next to then-Planned Parenthood of Illinois CEO Steve Trombley on a flight from Chicago to Dallas, where my attempts to converse fell flat.

crichards1A close friend of mine in the movement told me of recently fetching a cab at Washington Reagan Airport only to look up once inside to see Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards also waiting for a cab five feet away.

The moment passed quickly for my friend as well. She has replayed it in her mind and wondered if she should have rolled down her window and said something to Richards. Richards would have recognized her. And then, my friend wonders, what should she have said?

(My friend’s takeaway was noting Richards hard at work texting on her iPhone even while waiting for her cab. My friend gained new resolve to never waste a moment either.)

So, what would you say to an abortionist if happening upon one? Or perhaps you’ve spoken to an abortionist? I know sidewalk counselors do all the time.

Megan Huntsman, 4th trimester abortionist

News broke April 13 of a gruesome find in a Pleasant Grove, Utah, garage: the remains of a dead newborn infant stuffed inside a box.

The owner of the home, Darren West, called police, who found six more babies, also hidden inside boxes. Of the seven, one was apparently a stillbirth, but the rest were murdered after delivery.

West’s estranged wife, Megan Huntsman, readily admitted to killing her children. According to the AP:

Huntsman, 39, told police she either strangled or suffocated them immediately after they were born. She wrapped their bodies in a towel or a shirt, put them in plastic bags and then packed them inside boxes in the garage of her home….

During the interview with police, she was unemotional and matter of fact….

Of course, there is no difference, except the murder method, between Huntsman and Kermit Gosnell, the Philadelphia late-term abortionist found guilty of first-degree murder last year of severing the spines of three newborn infants.

And there are only inches of difference between Huntsman and the late-term abortionists Hollywood celebrates.

But no surprise, Huntsman’s murders are getting much more press. The media was uncurious about Gosnell because his occupation was one they cheer; plus, it was too uncomfortable for them to ponder how close Gosnell’s illegal method of killing was to his legal method.

But the media considers Huntsman’s crime “horrific and unimaginable,” because we all instinctively know a mother killing her own children is worse than when others do it (which is why there will always be a stigma attached to abortion, no matter how how the other side tries to normalize it – the revulsion is innate).

The media wonders why Huntsman didn’t abort. Again, killing one’s born children is unacceptable, while killing one’s preborn children – even at the same age – is acceptable:

Cheryl Meyer, a psychology professor at Ohio’s Wright State University… said “concealers” are typically teenagers who do not repeat the act.

“These are usually girls who are 17, get pregnant, become scared to death and don’t want to tell their parents,” said Meyer, who has written about mothers who kill their children. “They’re not 30-year-old women who can go have an abortion.”…

Defense attorneys also will try to determine whether Huntsman sought an abortion and if she told anyone about her pregnancies – all in hopes of understanding actions that otherwise appear incomprehensible….

In other words, it is “incomprehensible” to kill one’s own baby after birth, particularly because it is so convenient to kill that baby before birth.

article-0-1713F219000005DC-406_634x422-e1361472880191Even in the days leading up to her delivery Huntsman could have reached out to any number of late-term abortionists, like LeRoy Carthart and Warren Hern, pictured right.

But Huntsman waited to commit her own 4th trimester abortion – perhaps because it was cheaper?

The abortion industry should make Huntsman a poster child to push for Obamacare to cover late-term abortions. Don’t they love personal stories of tragedy like this?
