Pro-life photos of the week: Pro-choice expressions at a pro-life rally

This week Lila Rose and Live Action sponsored a rally in front of the Planned Parenthood located two blocks from the White House.

At one point an unidentified pro-abortion man heckled Rose by standing at the podium alongside her yelling, “Stop interfering with women’s healthcare decisions!” Click all photos to enlarge…

A female deathscort gave Rose the stink eye…

Stanek one of “7 women working tirelessly to attack equal rights for women”

Affirmation comes from the strangest places.

787971840mActually, the sort of affirmation I might strangely prefer is acknowledgement from the other side, backhanded as it may be, that I’m being heard. The hope is the messaging is getting through to someone over there, somewhere, and that I’m not just preaching to the choir.

Most here know of Amanda Marcotte, a militant pro-abortion feminist who writes some of the most acerbic, jaw-dropping stuff out there. Amanda may be exasperating and even infuriating, but she is refreshing in that she takes her movement’s beliefs to their fanatical conclusions, which they more often than not try to hide.

That’s the set-up for a piece Marcotte just had posted on Salon entitled, “7 women working tirelessly to attack equal rights for other women” (same piece at AlterNet“7 women working tirelessly to screw over other women,”) with the subtitle, “Sadly, these women find it personally advantageous to reject feminism and continue perpetuating sexist social norms.”

  • “Intellectual” Richard Dawkins told someone on Twitter that bringing a child with Down Syndrome to birth is “immoral.”
  • An Alabama abortion clinic (which couldn’t meet safety standards at its current location) has been given permission to relocate.
  • Martin Haskell’s abortion clinic in Sharonville, Ohio, is dropping its appeal. They’ll stop performing surgical abortions on Friday. The clinic apparently plans on trying to stay in business by offering RU-486 chemical abortions.

Planned Parenthood Indy’s BDSM pusher “no longer employed” – a LIE?

Terminated Planned Parenthood BDSM employeeUPDATE 6/13 7:10a: Planned Parenthood claims it was lying to Live Action on the call. According to USAToday.com:

A Planned Parenthood official acknowledged the staff member who took the call Thursday set up an appointment for the woman posing as the teen, even though she knew it was a Live Action operative.

Planned Parenthood staff went along with the caller’s request to meet with the specific counselor only because the agency would never tell a client about confidential personnel or employee issues, said spokeswoman Tammy Lieber.

“We knew it was a fake,” she said.

UPDATE 6/12 5:20p:  Here’s the audio.

UPDATE 6/12 2:45p: Per Lila Rose on Facebook, Live Action made a follow-up call to the Indianapolis Planned Parenthood today and was told the supposedly ex-staffer was still working there. Stay tuned.

6/12 12:11p: The first casualty of Live Action’s new investigation exposing Planned Parenthood’s proclivity to introduce minors to the dark and dangerous world of BDSM has been seen. According to IndyStar.com last night:

BREAKING: Live Action launches “Planned Parenthood EXPOSED” campaign

Live Action Planned Parenthood ExposedToday, Lila Rose and the Live Action team are launching a new comprehensive campaign, “Lies, Corruption, and Scandal: Six Years of Exposing Planned Parenthood.”

Beginning today, Live Action will hand-deliver a packet to every U.S. congressman and senator that includes a cover letter  providing an overview of Live Action’s investigative findings against Planned Parenthood over the course of six years, and a  report detailing Planned Parenthood’s expansive malfeasance.

At the same time Live Action is conducting a public campaign by unveiling a new website, PlannedParenthoodExposed.com, launching a petition drive, and releasing a video that gives a truly shocking six minute synopsis of Live Action’s six years of undercover investigations of the United States’ largest abortion corporation.

Those findings include:

  • Kansans for Life points out that when the cameras stopped rolling, Planned Parenthood dramatically scaled back not only their rhetoric but their lawsuit against the newly-passed Pro-Life Protections Act. PP has changed its tune and is amending its original suit to:

    1. withdraw opposition to the statement “abortion terminates the life of a whole, separate, unique, living human being”;

    2. withdraw opposition to the information about the pain-capability of the unborn child; but

    3. retain opposition to a requirement that each clinic’s online home page feature a hyperlink to the state’s informed consent website.
