Pill creator’s vision of future “not a world we want to live in”

by Kelli This is not a world we want to live in, although many have tried to create it for several decades now. Already, a crude form of this Brave New World has been created through the pill, a chemical weapon which women are conditioned to use on themselves. Pregnancy is equated to a parasitic […]

  • At Priests for Life, Fr. Frank Pavone calls for civil disobedience in response to the recently passed New Hampshire “bubble zone” law that bans pro-lifers from coming within 25 feet of an abortion facility:

This is an unjust law, not only from the perspective of free speech, the regulation of which must be content-neutral in order to be Constitutional, but also from a perspective that is antecedent to the Constitution…. This law attempts to stop those who are trying to save human lives, and therefore violates natural justice.

Because of its injustice, and because of the teaching of the Church that calls for conscientious objection to such laws, this law has no claim on conscience and should be directly disobeyed and violated.

  • At Life Training Institute, Clinton Wilcox addresses the controversy surrounding Marco Rubio’s recent assertion that life at conception is “settled science.” The Washington Post decided to do a “fact check” on Rubio’s claim – or did they? Wilcox writes:

In order to “look at the science” on the abortion issue, Philip Bump, the author of the Washington Post article, reached out to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. This was the statement they returned to him: “Government agencies and American medical organizations agree that the scientific definition of pregnancy and the legal definition of pregnancy are the same: pregnancy begins upon the implantation of a fertilized egg into the lining of a woman’s uterus. This typically takes place, if at all, between 5 and 9 days after fertilization of the egg — which itself can take place over the course of several days following sexual intercourse.”

Could your hormonal contraceptive disable or kill you? (YES)

Emily Letts opposes hormonal birth control pillRemember Emily Letts, the woman who filmed her own abortion?

Letts was willing to engage in unprotected hook-up sex, and willing to submit to an abortion, but one thing even she considered too risky was the birth control pill, as she explained to Cosmopolitan:

  • Pro-Life Action League says a recent 911 call from the Planned Parenthood in Aurora, Illinois, shows how little they truly “care, no matter what” about women’s safety. When the emergency operator asks for the patient’s condition, the PP staffer offers nothing – except instructions on where to park:

Feminists urged to sharpen “talons of vengeance” to stop slew of pro-life bills

shutterstock_123153736-199x300Ladies, the battle against anti-choice, anti-women, anti-cool white dudes has now reached critical mass: within mere hours of each other, both Texas and North Carolina have advanced bills to restrict state reproductive rights. Read along while you file your nails into talons of vengeance and feminism.

The Texas State Affairs Committee – the special session Governor Rick Perry called together after Senator Wendy Davis’ legendary filibuster – voted to approve HB 2, a heinous anti-abortion bill, on a party line vote. The bill is now sent to the full House for consideration next week; if approved, it will go through the same process in the Senate….

  • Big Blue Wave asks some pointed questions to find out if more contraceptives really leads to fewer unwanted pregnancies and abortions. One has to wonder: If the Pill was so successful in the 60’s, would Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton really have been necessary in the 70’s? And why, with the common and increased use of contraceptives so many years later, have abortion numbers continued to skyrocket?
