  • Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton (predictably) vetoed another pro-life bill:

Gov. Mark Dayton on Monday, April 30, vetoed bills requiring doctors to be present when abortion-inducing drugs are administered and creating a health care compact.

The governor said he vetoed the abortion bill because it’s another attempt to place a regulatory burden on certain health procedures, existing options are safe and it intrudes on federal medicine and medical safety practices.

Gingrich: Give Planned Parenthood funding to adoption agencies

I would like to defund Planned Parenthood…. I want to take all of that money and put it directly into adoption services to give young women the choice of life, not the culture of death. ~ GOP presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich, commenting at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s presidential forum in South Carolina, as quoted […]

TONIGHT! Televised Presidential Prolife Forum

UPDATE, 7:52p: Personhood USA Life-stream choppy. CNN has great live-streaming here. UPDATE, 7:15p: @thomas_hall tweets that over 40 media outlets are present… UPDATE, 7:03p: The live-stream can be enlarged to full screen, if you didn’t notice. Sound isn’t great. Stanek weekend question: Does Ron Paul’s position that abortion is a state (not federal) issue matter?

I’ve asked a question similar to this before. Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul believes the abortion issue should be settled at the state level. From his campaign site: Ron Paul believes that the ninth and tenth amendments to the U.S. Constitution do not grant the federal government any authority to legalize or ban abortion. Instead, […]

The Washington Post covers pro-choice and pro-life demonstrations at LeRoy Carhart’s Germantown abortion clinic. The story notes Carhart’s clinic will be closed this week during the Summer of Mercy 2.0.

Police found the child on her back porch in box wrapped in garbage bag. An Illinois teen is facing charges of involuntary manslaughter, aggravated battery and […]

by JivinJ, host of the blog, JivinJehoshaphat A SC organization which helps pregnant teens and young moms has moved in and renovated a former abortion clinic. I’m not sure a Carroll County Times letter to the editor writer named Jim Sipes knows what he “completely” believes: I am in agreement that abortion is the taking […]

Next misogynist liberal attackee? SC guv candidate: female, pro-life, and beautiful

UPDATE, 4:15p: Haley is currently the SC House Majority Whip. Nikki Haley. She’s principled, driven, and wonderfully pro-life. Among her other attributes… While unapologetically pro-life, she is first and foremost known as a fiscal conservative. She is the type of candidate conservatives claim they want, as well as the type of candidate libertarians claim to […]
