  • Right to Life Michigan is proud to bring transparency and peace of mind  despite the histrionics from Rachel Maddow  who claimed that beginning today the women of Michigan will have to purchase rape insurance to provide for their abortions:

So what will happen when the Abortion Insurance Opt-Out law takes effect on March 14? The sun will rise and Michigan will join 23 other states that have opted out of abortion being a standard part in health care policies offered through the national health care exchanges. Michigan will also join nine other states that have opted out of abortion as a standard part of private health care plans.

Obamacare to fund congressional, staff abortions

Paging Bart Stupak.  On March 24, 2010, he and other congresspersons calling themselves pro-life Democrats smiled for the camera as they watched President Obama sign an executive order no one but them believed would keep abortion out of Obamacare. • “I wanted to throw up when I saw it.” That’s how one high school student describes finding images of abortion in a high school bathroom in Texas.
  • A pro-life protest featuring Abby Johnson and a pro-abortion counter protest in New Orleans received some local media coverage. Planned Parenthood is planning on building a large 7,000 sq. ft. abortion clinic on an empty lot.

BREAKING: Congressional committees launch nationwide probe of shoddy abortion clinics and state regulators

breakingnews2I wrote the other day that aside from a U.S. Senate resolution introduced May 6 to “investigate and correct abusive, unsanitary, and illegal abortion practices” in the wake of the Kermit Gosnell scandal, other efforts were in the works to reign in dangerous abortion clinics and abortionists nationwide.

Two of those efforts were revealed today. Susan B. Anthony List writes:

STOPTHEKILLINGRALLY2

Following Live Action’s video release today, which captured Washington, D.C., abortionist Cesare Santangelo endorsing infanticide and other barbaric acts of inhumanity, Live Action will hold a “Stop the Killing” rally at his clinic this Wednesday, May 1, at 12:30p EST. Location is: 2112 F St. NW, Washington, D.C.

New Stanek poll: Is it fair to equate abortion with slavery?

Is it fair to equate abortion with slavery?

Virginia Democrats are attacking Attorney General and Republican gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli for comments he made last year connecting the two, this on the heels of Susan B. Anthony List president Marjorie Dannenfelser doing the same at CPAC.

Cuccinelli was spot on:

ihearttj99-1351318971_600 2Read backstory, “BREAKING: Carhart’s victims identified.”

Over 250 people gathered at Germantown Reproductive Health Services abortion clinic in Germantown, Maryland, this morning to demand justice for the death of 29-year-old Jennifer McKenna Morbelli (pictured right), who perished at the hand of late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart on February 7, along with her 33-week-old preborn baby, Madison Leigh.

As protesters gathered outside, Carhart carried on with his abortion business as usual inside.

ABC News and the Washington Post were among news outlets that attended the press conference/prayer vigil.
