“beingHUMAN: 40 Days for Life II” airs tonight
Whether or not you have cable, you can watch the 30-minute documentary “beingHUMAN: 40 Days for Life II” tonight on EWTN at 6:30p EST.
Instructions how to watch the show via the Internet are posted on page 2.
“beingHUMAN” will spotlight the highly successful 40 Days for Life campaign….
WorldNetDaily.com showcases 40 Days in an article today. Long story short:
Now a third campaign is on the calendar, with a signup deadline of July 29 for cities to take part in the outreach. Most locations will have prayer warriors on the sidewalks outside abortion clinics 24 hours a day from Sept. 24 through Nov. 2.
To date the campaigns have saved 514 babies (that it knows of), seen 2 abortion mills close, helped 5 mill workers leave the industry, and garnered 150k participants who have prayed and fasted to end abortion throughout the 40 days scheduled.
About the upcoming fall campaign, organizer David Bereit wrote in an email yesterday, “This will be – HANDS-DOWN – the largest and longest coordinated pro-life mobilization EVER!”

Looking forward to participating in it again…
*I’m hoping for no “midnight blasphemer” encounters this time….
I’m having trouble getting the live show on the internet. I watched the first five minutes of this link earlier and just turned on my TV to EWTN….I believe it is the same show:

Mad Men 2nd season premier tonight on AMC. Awesome show.
Doug,
I understand that posting off-topic is a typical pro-abort response to a pro-life issue/event BUT…
is there something really wrong with praying for 40 days that you have to sneak in a very OFF-Topic post?
RSD, if you have somebody who is really “pro-abortion,” then that’s far different from being Pro-Choice.
Nothing wrong with praying, if one wants to. I just saw the notice on TV and this was the thread that was in front of me.
“RSD, if you have somebody who is really “pro-abortion,” then that’s far different from being Pro-Choice.

Sorry, Doug…whenever you say pro-choice it also means you support the abortion “choice”.
So, what’s the diff between outright support of abortion and outright support of abortion “choice”? Less guilt on your persona?

That’s like asking if you have less guilt about being a “woman-slaver.”
Being pro-choice is about being for the legal choice of abortion, not outright support of abortion, per se. I’d rather see no abortions versus abortions, overall.
The context is weighing women’s right to abortion versus the need to have every pregnancy continued, even against the will of the woman, and there there’s no necesary guilt in going with the desire of the woman who is actually pregnant against your desire.
