Would Feinstein oppose abortion if they used guns to kill babies?
Last week Republican U.S. Senator Ted Cruz got Democrat colleague Dianne Feinstein’s “dander up,” as she later described her temper tantrum, when during a Judiciary Committee meeting he questioned the constitutionality of an assault weapons ban she had introduced. Feinstein snapped:
I’m not a sixth grader. Senator, I’ve been on this committee for 20 years. I was a mayor for nine years. I walked in, I saw people shot. I’ve looked at bodies that have been shot with these weapons. I’ve seen the bullets that implode. In Sandy Hook, youngsters were dismembered. Look, there are other weapons. I’m not a lawyer, but after 20 years I’ve been up close and personal to the Constitution. I have great respect for it.
Feinstein claimed one reason to outlaw assault weapons is they more than kill children, they dismember them in the process, which apparently is worse in her mind, since, as she said, “there are other weapons.” Meaning what? Cleaner kills are acceptable?
Whatever, this is the same Dianne Feinstein who as U.S. senator voted against partial birth abortion bans in 1995, 1997, 2000, and 2003.
As we all know, to commit pbas the abortionist delivers a baby up to the head in a breech position, punctures the nape of her neck with either fingers or scalpel, inserts tubing through the hole into her brain, suctions her brain, collapse her skull with forceps, and deliver the dead baby. Gruesome. Yet Feinstein said she was “truly shocked [about this] major strike against a woman’s right to choose” when the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the ban in 2007.
As a supporter of the unfettered “right” to abort, Feinstein also supports late-term dilatation and evacuation abortions, wherein the abortionist dismembers the baby to kill him.
Senator Feinstein is indeed “not a sixth grader.” She is not as smart. Any sixth grader who was to hear a PBA or D&E abortion described would be horrified. Some adults, like Feinstein, lose childhood sensibilities when they grow up.

My comment to the above quote did not copy. I could not have said it better.

She might oppose abortion if pregnancies occurred in artificial wombs.
How close are we to that day?

I once asked pro-abortion, pro-gun control people if they’d oppose gun control measures if the weapons were used more efficiently to commit abortions than the current methods employed. They actually said yeah, they’d support guns more, in that case. Dead babies, above any other agenda. That’s where their hearts are. That’s where their money is.

Where did she “walk in” and see people shot? Was it anywhere where we (the US) have sold guns to other countries? I guess their kids don’t matter. Maybe she should “walk in” to Kermit Gosnell’s office, or “walk in” to Carhart’s “practice.” Take a little stroll in those environments and tell us about children. Hypocrite with a capital H.

She has “great respect” for The Constitution?
She’s not a lawyer, she’s not a sixth-grader but, apparently,
She’s a comedienne!

Ideas based on political correctness and getting votes are inevitably hypocritical and not the least bit logical. Fenstein exemplifies this with her inconsistent views about abortion and gun control.

Were bodies dismembered at Sandy Hook?

It amazes me how people can go on about guns killing children, yet ignore the fact that lives end within the womb during abortion.
I don’t like to sound crude, but it keeps putting me in mind of the Real Estate motto: “Location, location, location.” Outside the womb–protect the kids…inside the womb–all bets are off. I don’t get the difference.
Makes me sad.

ms fein-spine doesnt give a democRATs behind about the constitution. She has labored exceedingly long and hard to make her self as dumb as the southbound end of the democRAT mascot. She deserves no respect. She has forfeited any honor the office she holds may have afforded her.
mssy ‘d’, whose ”character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.”
She would have made an excellent consort for king George the 3rd.

From Wikipedia:
Moscone planned to announce White’s replacement days later, on November 27, 1978.[113] A half hour before the press conference, White entered City Hall through a basement window to avoid metal detectors, and made his way to Moscone’s office. Witnesses heard shouting between White and Moscone, then gunshots. White shot the mayor in the shoulder and chest, then twice in the head after Moscone had fallen on the floor.[114] White then quickly walked to his former office, reloading his police-issue revolver with hollow-point bullets along the way, and intercepted Milk, asking him to step inside for a moment. Dianne Feinstein heard gunshots and called the police. She found Milk face down on the floor, shot five times, including twice in the head at close range. After identifying both bodies, Feinstein was shaking so badly she required support from the police chief

mssy ‘d’ was member of the San Francisco board of supervvisors when former supervisor Dan White shot and killed supervisor Harvey Milk and mayor George Moscone at the San Francisco city hall in 1978.
White arrived that day by climbing through a first-floor window on the side of City Hall carrying a .38 revolver and 10 rounds of ammunition. By entering the building through the window, White was able to circumvent the recently installed metal detectors.
White then killed [mayor] Moscone by shooting him in the shoulder and chest, and twice in the head. He then walked to the other side of City Hall to [Supervisor] Milk’s office, reloaded the gun, and fatally shot Milk five times,…
It highly unlikely that a .38 revolver dis-memebered anyone that day, but they were not any less dead.
No scary looking ‘assaut rifles’ or high capacity magazines were involved. It was a ‘gun free’ zone where only the shooter was armed. Kind of like Sandy Hook Elementary.
mssy d’s memory is as selective and convenient as her conscience.

So, based on Hal’s recap of what I didn’t remember (thanks Hal!), Feinstein was so traumatized that any guns are bad guns. Emotionally, understand. But the constitution is there to make sure we don’t run our government with hot heads and emotions.
Now, it’s curious that she doesn’t want to outlaw grape kool aid. Wasn’t it also in the mid 70’s that Milk’s buddy, Jim Jones, (who used to bus in supporters in exchange for Milk’s cooperation) used powdered drink mix and poison to kill about 900 people (some of whom at one time filled out Milk’s gatherings), most of whom were originally from the San Francisco area? Diane, why no outrage about grape flavored drink and how that lead to hundreds of deaths?

Hal,
The Department of Homeland Security has contracts to purchase a billion rounds of ‘hollow point’ ammunition of various calibers.
International law prohibits militaries from using this type of ammo.
Not to worry DHS says the billion rounds are being procured for ‘target practice’ by federal agents.
[Hollow point ammo is not manufactured for ‘target practice’. It is manufactured and used for it’s optimum killing capacity. This is what the stupid senator from the left coast was attempting to say when she ignorantly referred to it as ‘imploding’.]
That is enough ammo to wage a 30 year war…..but against whom?
Just who is the DHS targeting?
All the angry white guys and gals clinging to their GOD and their guns?!?!
Thes procurements are being made at the same time the federal government is running a trillion dollar a year deficit and the national debt is approaching 16 trillion dollars.
And obama hellth scare will not fully phase in for several more years.

I am against abortion and I am also for gun control. I don’t agree with Senator Feinstein on abortion but she does have a point about gun violence. She has been with her own eyes what guns can do. I think people have the right to bear arms and people have a right to hunt but I don’t think people need assault weapons and I also think that ALL gun sales should include background checks. I think many in the pro-lobby and the gun industry don’t really care if innocent children die, it is just part of the cost of freedom to have unrestricted access to firearms. Jill Stanek, are you in favor of gun control? Are you pro-life when it comes to protecting our children from gun violence?
