Would 70s pro-life hit song be welcome on today’s college campus?
I wonder if Seals and Crofts would be allowed to sing Unborn Child on campus?

I would say that wouldn’t be allowed…or if they were allowed they would be asked to keep the volume to a whisper so that students are not disturbed.

Such a strong pro-life song, coming in the midst of the pro-abortion, sexual revolution, center of the ME decade, 1974. I never knew of this. I used to joke about Seals and Crofts being one of those lame soft rock bands like Captain & Tenille until today.

All that folksy, shaggy hair should count for something.

“…lame soft rock bands like Captain & Tenille…”
You take that back right now.

Great song! Maybe they could play a pro life counter-fest outside of the next meeting of Planned Parenthood ghouls.

I always liked Seals & Crofts though I had not heard of this song. Of course I pretty much followed the American Top Forty on the radio and I’m sure this wasn’t a chart hit. It should have been though.
This song definitely would not be tolerated on most college campuses today. Too bad.
I shared it on FB and it’s in my favorites for future listening. What a wonderful song.

I want the shirt with the rainbow on it! No this would be aborted, since the college media industry has no true faith in women being able to educate herself on life and other things. They would kill it.
So sweet a song, though-so sad, there is a true market for a culture of life-it’s so uplifting to think of the potential, and so exciting the think of the challenges. The LIFE mentality needs to DOMINATE and PROPAGATE. People need to stop arresting those who are anti-‘choice,’ and they need to stop kicking them out of their church’s. Jesus died on the cross, he wasn’t wearing a j.crew sweater vest while sipping a 4.00 star bucks latte, and surfing ebay on his t-mobile device. he was persecuted and killed by the church and the police, so the same could have a chance at LIFE.
Choices – NOT – CHOICE.
See the difference?
recognize.
