What “choice” is it? MSNBC host dances around the “A” word
So there is only one that currently meets that benchmark which means that this is going to be the only clinic in the state for women in North Carolina for seeking out choice. But in a statement about the bill and the signings itself Governor McCrory says the law does not further limit access and those would contend it does are more interested in politics than the health and safety of our citizens.
How do you respond to that with such a dramatic closure of access to choice providers for women?

Choice, oh choice? Where are you choice? Where are you hiding?
What happened to loud, proud and unapologetic?
Mealymouthed deceivers.
MSNBC is nothing more than a mouthpiece of the hard-core left.
Choice providers?
Ohmystars!
ROFL!!!
The ‘A’ word? Should I Abstain from sex with this person I do not want to have a child by or will there be an Abortion in my future? Is that the choice? NO birth control is 100% perfect in preventing pregnancy or STDs. Is this necessary? Let me go away and think about this. Hm-m-m-m … Self-control or birth control. That is the question.
See, crap like this is why MSNBC’s ratings are in the toilet.
Hi JDC,
Along with the tampon earrings.
JDC…pun intended? lol.
They’re so afraid to use the “a” word. Why? Why are they so afraid? According to them 99.99% of Americans are pro-choice/abortion so why are they so afraid?
A “choice” provider should provide an actual choice right? Shouldn’t a “choice provider” offer to help women carry to term as well as offer to carve the child into pieces? Yet I don’t think the majority of abortionists help women carry babies to term if they choose. The abortionist at my local clinic Lee Tripp is a circuit riding abortionist. He aborts in NJ, Philly and the philly suburbs throughout the week. He doesn’t deliver babies or provide real medical care to pregnant women in any way, shape or form. Oh and he has been reprimanded as a doctor. Stellar guy, really.
“JDC…pun intended? lol.”
I’ll just retroactively say yes. :)
Any abortion a good abortion, no matter the conditions of the office, the reason for the killing, or the effects on the mother. :(
I applaud Gov. McCrory, who by all accounts has conducted himself admirably through this.
I prefer this story about North Carolina:

I’m going to call up and say, “I’d like to schedule a choice, please.”
That’s funny…I’ve always been able to make all of my choices MYSELF. I’ve never had to call up a “choice provider” and have my choices given to me.
Derp, feminine empowerment fail.
Hi Sydney M,
For years its was called the A word. “Free abortion on demand”. “Stop child abuse,Support abortion reform” was a popular bumper sticker. Nothing was considered wrong with using the A word. As the abortion wars heated up and abortion became less palatable a few years past Roe v Wade, if memory serves me right sometime in the mid to late 70’s. it became “choice”. I remember advocates saying we’re not “pro-abortion”, no one likes abortion, we’re “pro-choice”. Of course the media took their cue and obediently fell into line. I’ll give them this, it worked. “Choice” was considerably more palatable and politicians and abortion advocates could better straddle both sides of the fence.
“He doesn’t deliver babies or provide real medical care…”
Nor should he have to, if you truly believe in a free market system.
Choice providers? I thought that was Baskin Robbins?
“Choice provider”? Is that some sort of new medical insurance term?
Choice? Oh yes, just like women’s health refers to just abortion, too.
If Americans are really so supportive of abortion “rights,” use the word. Don’t try to whitewash what you are saying!
‘Choice.’
Never was a word so condensed down to the single most decisive victory of death over mankind in the entire history of human language. If it (abortion) really was a ‘Choice,’ then it wouldn’t be legal.
If it really was a chosen when is it celebrated?
We celebrate birthdays! We celebrate weddings! We celebrate things that propagate life! Choice?
To Choose something, over another thing.
To choose life over death.
To Choose death over life.
Since when was ‘choice’ ever chosen? ‘Choice’ is a death rattle.
Men know what that man is talking about–but some women, the women who have lived that word-who have invited that word into their inner sanctum, they turn cold from that word. That word no longer means one thing or another. That word can mean only one thing: Slavery.
