What if Jesus had been pro-choice?
by Kelli
But what if Jesus were to have embraced a “prochoice” worldview? What would that look like?
We could kiss salvation goodbye. Adoption is at the heart of our soul’s redemption, yet a maligned consideration on the “prochoice” periphery. (Planned Parenthood aborts over 149 children for every 1 adoption referral). Half of us would immediately be written off as unwanted, therefore disposable, and certainly not worth eternally saving.
A “prochoice” Jesus would be the ultimate hypocrite having his own life spared from a single teenage mother scenario only to condemn to death others in similar circumstances. He, like the Jesse Jacksons of the world (who was conceived in rape), would enjoy the grand possibility of life while others the grim inevitability of undeserved death.
A Savior who espouses the tenets of the “prochoice” faith would not have to reveal the power of miracles, but instead rely upon a pessimistic outlook that misery is the natural outcome of physical affliction. The blind seeing, the lame walking and lepers healed would only take valuable time and resources away from those who weren’t a “burden” on society. He would relish in His efforts to eliminate the “unfit” from the overpopulated world upon which He apparently miscalculated….
This month we celebrate Christmas and the birth of a Savior who would eventually give His own life. But a “prochoice” Jesus would’ve prevented such selflessness. Narcissism is at the heart of abortion doctrine. His death and resurrection never would have happened; self-sacrifice is anathema to sacred abortion beliefs….
Instead we have… a Savior who saves the most wretched, the most defenseless and the most broken. He emblazoned Purpose on our hearts from the moment we were conceived. In Christ we have compassion, grace, mercy, love, forgiveness, hope and possibility personified.

Jesus would never be pro-choice. Jesus would love everyone and wouldn’t want any baby to be killed by their parents or others.

Novel and well put, Mr. Bomberger, as always.

Great piece Ryan.
However, to be fair – it’s not always narcissism at the heart of abortion doctrine. That may be the spun narrative for political purposes, but there is also demanding pressure and control (for profitability) and cowardice.
I’ve encountered too many personal testimonies of grandparents and boyfriends using extreme pressure on the mother. I believe there are many cases where the actual abortion is done under compulsion, similar to what’s happening with Obamacare now. We’ve heard of many cases where once inside the clinic, attempting to break free – to exercise “choice” is near impossible.
Of course those who demand their grandchildren (or children) be killed, or who profit from abortion love the idea that the mother made the “choice” in the matter. Except the reality, in some cases, is more like “Sophie’s Choice.”
A day is coming where Our Redeemer will put an end to the oppression. Many will be stunned, because they ignored knowing the Messiah.

The Baby of Bethlehem was born today. May His peace, love and serenity descend upon all of you and remain with you forever and ever.
May you always believe that Jesus is with you at all times. May you find time to reflect upon the blessings of God.
From my family to yours wishing all a blessed and Holy Christmas!

The fact remains that many people like to delude themselves that Jesus/God is “pro-choice.” (Some even claim to be pro-choice Christians.) But this illustration – and frankly, everything we read in Scripture – flies in the face of that idea. Thank God for His sacrificial love!

Its all good Kel. Today through January 6 there will be no worries for Christians. We will celebrate life and each other. And we will pray that pro-aborts realize that the greatest miracle is their existence. We will also pray that pro-aborts realize that to deny pre-born children this existence is to deny themselves in the face of this greatest miracle. May we have faith that many pro-aborts transform and praise God for the miracle of life.

Yep. When my son’s girlfriend was pregnant with her second baby, her grandmother urged her to abort. She even offered to pay for it. And her father wrote on her Facebook page “still pregnant?” My beautiful granddaughter is six months now and they both are oohing and aahing over her. It’s kind of sickening to see.
Religious proaborts tend to see God as The Great Options Counselor in The Sky.
And Merry Christmas Eve to you too, JDC.
On a sadder note, Heather, that young lady that was shot at the Centennial school shooting has passed. Her name was Claire and she was only seventeen. Its bad enough to lose a child through violence, but during the holiday season? I can’t imagine the pain the family is going through. Rest in peace, Claire.

This is a very valuable question. We have Pelosi and so many other self-professed Catholics claiming that abortion is “sacred ground” to defend.
It is worth looking at the concept of a pro-choice Jesus. What if the Savior of the world were a bit more like Molech?

Imagine that….loving your daughter conceived from brutal rape. Amanda is pulling her life back together along with the other girls.

Can anyone truly be considered a pro-life Christian if they don’t do the following:
1. Participate in their state’s foster care program.
2. Refrain from judging others.
