New Yorker writer: Pro-life = pro-gun control

“Gun control” means controlling those things whose first purpose is to help people kill other people… And the idea that you can be pro-life and still be pro-gun: if your primary concern is actually with the sacredness of life, then you have to stand with Richard Martinez [pictured], in memory of his son. (pro-life gun […]

Pro-life news brief 7-1-13

by JivinJ, host of the blog, JivinJehoshaphat At First Things, Christopher Kaczor writes about the gradualist development of the right to life and why we should reject it: We should reject, for example, the analogy between the gradual development of a right to life and the gradual attainment of other rights. Priest calls on pro-lifers to expose Obama-supporting Catholic groups at March for Life

Sr. Carol KeehanI want everyone who participates in the March For Life to take photos of the pro-unborn banners carried by the contingents from the National Catholic Reporter… from the LCWR [Leadership Conference of Women Religious]… from the Catholic Health Association… from the Nuns on the Bus.

Wanted, dead or alive: Children for Obama to use as political pawns

It gets redundant pointing out President Obama’s hypocrisy when it comes to his concern for children.

Yesterday, in the wake of the Newtown massacre, Obama used four children as props to sign 23 executive orders to theoretically curb gun violence….

In signing his EOs Obama stated:

This is our first task as a society, keeping our children safe. This is how we will be judged…. [W]hen it comes to protecting the most vulnerable among us, we must act now . . . .

Meanwhile, the National Rifle Association is being criticized for a new ad pointing out the hypocrisy of Obama and Washington elitists when it comes to protecting their own children as opposed to ours…

Rap producer called hypocrite over violence in black community

And I gotta remind you, Russell, if you’re so upset about black people killing other black people in the hood, why aren’t you speaking out against the abortion clinics that are in the inner cities that are killing far more black people than shootings, you hypocrite? …Now, unless you’re not paying attention, you may often […]
