Former employee spills beans on unsanitary Planned Parenthood clinic

“Why do Planned Parenthood’s abortion centers get all the money while non-abortion centers fall apart?”

Lola* knew the answer to her question but was using it to educate me about the StroudsburgPennsylvania, Planned Parenthood clinic that she, along with several other staff members, recently quit in disgust.

Lola emailed me a couple days ago, having learned about my blog, ironically enough, from bosses who mocked it during meetings. “We read your stuff and thought you were all crazy,” Lola said. “But not any more.”

  • At National Review, Michael J. New says that despite the media’s attempts to paint the views of Wendy Davis and abortion proponents as mainstream, they aren’t:

The results of the National Journal poll indicate that 50 percent of women support the 20-week abortion ban. Similarly, individuals under 30 supported the ban by a 52-39 margin. Unfortunately, the media typically gives little attention to the demographic breakdown of abortion surveys. After all, they do not want to disrupt their narrative that young people and women support legal abortion.

  • Secular Pro-Life writes that the CEO of Sir Richard’s condom company intends to donate one condom to a developing country for each condom purchased because “if everyone bought our condoms, we could really change the world.” SPL says:

According to the CDC, while condoms are highly effective at preventing HIV transmission, the typical use failure rate for condoms as a contraceptive is a dismal eighteen percent. People often fail to make that distinction, and therefore do not appreciate the chances of pregnancy as fully as they should. No doubt that misunderstanding will be magnified in a region that has little in the way of healthcare access and sex education.

  • At Live Action News, Kristen Hatten reacts to a very disturbing Huffington Post article written by a man who says he is “not happy about” finding out his wife is expecting twin boys after they pursued IVF hoping for a (single) girl.

  • Live Action comments on the recent Al Jazeera appearance of Lila Rose, who was the sole representative of the pro-life cause on the program. Rose was pitted against several abortion supporters, including Katie Stack (formerly of MTV’s “No Easy Decision”), who is now employed as a clinic escort yet seems to be both struggling with and seeking to justify her past abortion:

American College of Nurse Midwives lends support to “gender variants”

Anyone else feel like it really is a tide that is turning these days? The American College of Nurse Midwives issued a statement in support of working towards quality, competent care for trans and gender non-conforming people. Woo-hoo! ~ Radical Doula Miriam Zoila Pérez, January 17, excited over a recent statement issued by ACNM that […]

Superbug: Gonorrhea soon untreatable

Guest post by Dustin Siggins

Over the last two generations, the political and cultural left has changed the way many Americans view relationships, sex, and children. With about 1.2 million abortions per year, divorce rates at around 50%, and out-of-wedlock birth rates at record highs, one could easily believe they are winning.

However, even humans can’t beat natural law and reality. Marriage, which is mostly a college-educated, upper-income phenomenon these days, offers many benefits “shacking up” does not. Abortion, long claimed to “help” women, is increasingly shown to be done for so-called “elective” reasons, even for partial-birth abortions.

And now the Centers for Disease Control is proving the Catholic Church, LDS Church, Baptists, and other socially conservative institutions correct on abstinence until marriage….

Abstinence and monogamy credited with reducing African HIV rates

Republican Congressman… Chris Smith provided indisputable evidence of the victory: AIDS prevention events in African countries achieve successful results when they are founded upon abstinence and fidelity. From the House of Representatives, Smith drew a bill to revive the President’s Emergency Plan for HIV/AIDS. After citing the reports of the U.S. State Department and the […]
