(Prolifer)ations

From Catholic News Agency, January 31:
The owner of a California abortion clinic chain faces trial on charges of practicing medicine without a license….
In addition, the accused womans clinics are now directed by a doctor accused of repeated negligence, including causing the death of a child during birth.

Americans United for Life has posted the Supreme Court White Papers. See what your state will do after Roe is overturned….
Judie Brown is confused. And who can blame her? Senator Sam Brownback, Senator Mel Martinez and Father Frank Pavone have all endorsed Senator John McCain because “[McCain] has a clear and convincing pro-life record.”
But Republicans for Choice also endorsed John McCain:
Our first choice, Rudy Giuliani, did not win. He ran a campaign with a risky strategy and it didn’t work. But our number two choice did win. John McCain. McCain came in second in a survey of our membership.
Then Steve Ertelt of LifeNews.com reported this from NARAL:
NARAL president Nancy Keenan told her supporters, “We can’t afford John McCain and we cannot take anything for granted,” she said, saying it is wrong for abortion proponents to assume that Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama will win in November.
Dawn Eden from the Dawn Patrol blog posted this video. Seems like I’m not the only one who can’t come up with anything concrete Obama has done…
Update: Video is fixed, you have to watch it:

Republicans for Choice also endorsed John McCain.
Never get tired of hearing that.
“seems like I’m not the only that can’t come up with any concrete that Obama has done…”

Have you not been watching any of the debates or victory speeches? Come on, what he does, is baffle us with his B.S.
If he’s the nominee, just wait. His honeymoon with the media will soon be over. When it comes to asking tough, hard questions it will be amusing to watch him squirm his way out of the issues. That little media darling can only use the word “Change” so many times before it becomes mute. We’ll see, I guess!
Anon,
I agree. All he can talk about is change and bringing this country together. Ha!
Does he think that conservatives are magically going to become liberals overnight and agree with liberal ideology?
He wants compromise, but he is unwilling to compromise and lean conservative.
Since he has never been in office, it is very easy to sit in the quarterback chair and talk about what he would do.
Any comments on the fake abortionists getting nabbed anyone anyone???
Once again, so much for safe legal abortion.
“He wants compromise, but he is unwilling to compromise and lean conservative.”
Keep your mind and your heart open, and you’ll be amazed what he can accomplish.
What, Hal, sticking a sword in it?
But legalizing abortion was supposed to shut down back-alley butchers!
Or was it just supposed to keep as many of them out of prison as possible?
Any comments on the fake abortionists getting nabbed anyone anyone???
Once again, so much for safe legal abortion.

……………………….
Apparently whomever she practiced medicine upon without being licensed, didn’t care that she wasn’t licensed. The incidents are hardly an excuse to legalize the enslavement of women to their reproductive organs. Feel better? : )
Just because legalizing abortion doesn’t get rid of all unlicensed abortionists doesn’t mean it’s not a good idea.
if just one woman could get a legal abortion instead of an illegal one, it was worth it.
Ah, that video. LOL! How true & how sad. No wonder he appeals to many college kids.
You might want to add this site to the list:

Help for people impacted by abortion, without politics or religious spin.
I heard he used to smoke cocaine. Does that count as an accomplishment?
Hal, these women all got nice legal abortions. Now, go comfort their families with platitudes about how much better their deaths were thanks to legalization. Stress it especially hard to the families of Marla Cardamone and Allegra Roseberry, who were browbeaten into abortions I seriously doubt anybody would have been pushing for had it been illegal to do so.
Remember, these women are the beneficiaries of your pet cause.
Just don’t expect their families to kiss your feet in gratitude.
Why you gotta put a brother down, man?
There was a guy going around in Florida I think giving fake breast exams, should we stop giving women breat exams?

Where does it say these women knew she had no medical license? These were women who were very vulnerable, especially if they were unable to speak English or were illegal immigrants.
Anyway, she had absolutely no business practicing without a license and she is the one responsible for her illegal actions, not the women she worked on.
Hal,
Why are you of the very naive notion that something legal must be good? Slavery and segregation were legal.
Most illegal abortions were performed in doctor’s offices which likely accounts for the steadily decreasing death rate from illegal abortion prior to Roe v Wade. Its theorized that these doctors were considerably more careful, or else they risked being caught, and didn’t do abortions on an assembly line basis as what occured with legalization and clinics opening up all over the country.
Hal,
Thirty years ago undercover reporters discovered appalling conditions in several Chicago area abortion clinics, some of them in Chicago’s most exclusive neighborhood.
One was run by a used car salesman, another by a mortician school dropout. Novices from the local medical school operated, all with the goal of turning a fast buck. Everything was done strictly on the basis that time was money and money was the name of the game. Doctors didn’t waste time on such trivialities as washing their hands and changing their gloves between patients. Pregnancy tests were falsified.
In my hometown a clinic was discovered to be run by a drug addict and in his wife. In sworn affadavits, a woman and her companion stated a dog was permitted to walk around the premises, and even in the operating area. This hack took referrals from Chicago for late term abortions.
All these facilities I mention operated legally and openly, so they had to be safe, right?
Legal abortion puts the criminal element out of business? Sometimes Hal legalizing something only give criminals and other dubious characters opportunities they never dreamed of.

Obama has never been in office?
(Gee, maybe his first name is “Senator.”)
With his voting record, that should read
“Obama has never been IN the office”.
Hard to do your job as Senator when you’re busy traveling the country stumping.
