Pro-life news brief 4-30-13

by JivinJ, host of the blog, JivinJehoshaphat

  • At the Washington Post, Erik Wemple busts NARAL president Ilyse Hogue’s obvious lie that NARAL was “first out of the gate to call attention to [the Gosnell] case”:

Having done precisely 3,454 Nexis and Internet search on the Gosnell case, we missed the part where NARAL had led a charge to highlight the alleged atrocities in West Philadelphia. So we Nexised again, checking on NARAL’s footprint around the time that Gosnell was indicted in January 2011. Not much there. When asked to provide news releases or other evidence of activism around that time, NARAL didn’t provide anything.

Pro-life video of the day: Who is Kermit Gosnell?

by Hans Johnson That’s the question Dan Joseph of MRC-TV asked sightseers at the Lincoln Memorial: Both sides in the notoriously underreported murder trial of the Philadelphia abortion doctor have now rested. Jury deliberation begins today. Email dailyvid@jillstanek.com with your video suggestions. [HT: Jill]

How to deed restrict your business property to keep it abortion-free forever

IMG_1305-2
Recall the Livonia, Michigan, pro-life businessman who bought an abortion clinic property earlier this month and then banned it from being sold to an abortionist.

If you own business property, you, too, can deed restrict it so it can never be sold to an abortion business. From Dave Theisen at Real Estate for Life comes three simple steps:

Limbaugh: Obama’s a hypocrite for “blessing” Planned Parenthood

rushobamaPlanned Parenthood cannot afford to condemn any abortion, after birth, partial birth, they can’t condemn any. They can’t take action in one way, one syllable, one word, they can’t oppose any type of abortion or they destroy their own purpose.

To Planned Parenthood, every abortion is good, every pregnancy is a potential disease, every pregnancy is the result of male domination. Every abortion equals female freedom and emancipation. Every abortion equals women saying, “Screw you.”

Ew, gross! NY Times, Washington Post reject ad showing Planned Parenthood sex ed images

2013-04-29_1420

Last week American Life League tried to run a full page ad in the New York Times and Washington Post that showed images from actual Planned Parenthood sex education materials for kids as young as 10 years old.

Both newspapers rejected the ad as “too graphic” and “shocking” for their adult readers to see. But the images are okay for kids in the classroom to see – at taxpayer expense.

I have ALL’s ad posted on page 2. WARNING: It’s too vulgar to run on page 1.

The backstory from ALL:

STOPTHEKILLINGRALLY2

Following Live Action’s video release today, which captured Washington, D.C., abortionist Cesare Santangelo endorsing infanticide and other barbaric acts of inhumanity, Live Action will hold a “Stop the Killing” rally at his clinic this Wednesday, May 1, at 12:30p EST. Location is: 2112 F St. NW, Washington, D.C.

Live Action “Inhuman” video #2: DC abortionist wouldn’t help survivors

2013-04-29_1103

The new Live Action investigation, “Inhuman: Undercover in America’s late-term abortion industry,” is proving what pro-lifers already knew: Kermit Gosnell was no outlier, as the abortion industry and media have tried to portray him. Both overt and covert killing of abortion survivors is a component of late-term abortions.

Yesterday, Live Action released the first video in its series, which revealed a Bronx, New York, abortion counselor stating her facility would plop abortion survivors into a toxic solution to kill them. She also recommended that the pregnant investigator “flush it” if her baby delivered at home.

Today, Live Action released a second video, this one of Washington, D.C., abortionist Cesare Santengelo of the Washington Surgi-Clinic acknowledging he knew the law required him to provide medical care to abortion survivors, but he would break it:
