Stanek Sunday Word: “Love your neighbor as yourself”

Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other […]

Pro-life blog buzz 5-29-15

pro-lifeby Susie Allen, host of the blog, Pro-Life in TN

  • Over at National Review, Dr. Michael New explains why it is too early for social liberals to be doing a victory dance over a new Gallup poll showing those reporting to be  liberal equal to social conservatives:

Last year, social conservatives outpolled social liberals by a 34-30 margin. This year, it was a 31-31 split. This represents a relatively small change that could have been caused by a slight bias in the sample.

While the effects of an onslaught of  positive media attention to same sex marriage, seems to have successful in moving  public opinion to  the liberal category, that does not appear to be the case  with the life issues.

Opposition to abortion and pornography has held relatively constant, and a smaller percentage of Americans now find physician-assisted suicide morally acceptable.

Pro-life vid of day: Dana Loesch dismantles liberal media’s now infamous “cool” invasive ultrasound misquote of Scott Walker

by Jill Over the last few days left wing “news” outlets – the the help of Planned Parenthood – have glaringly misappropriated Wisconsin Gov. and pro-life GOP presidential candidate Scott’s Walker’s innocent comment that ultrasound images of preborn babies are “cool” as thumbs-up support of mandatory transvaginal ultrasounds. Caleb Howe at Red State picked up […]

Irish voted for gay marriage… legal abortion next?

So where to next for Ireland? The progressive elite already have their next target in sight - the repeal of the eighth amendment to the Constitution, which guarantees the right to life of the unborn. While the effectiveness of this amendment is compromised due to the 1992 Supreme Court decision in the “X case,” it is […]

Pro-life video of the day: Subtle pro-life song

by Hans Johnson While some songs leave the public arguing as to their meaning for many decades (case in point: American Pie), some seem obvious but have a hidden message unrealized by most. Dan Wilson, the lead singer of the rock group Semisonic, wanted to write a tribute song for the child he was expecting with […]

Pro-choicer on CA law: Don’t make pregnancy centers refer for abortion

by Kelli To be clear, some crisis pregnancy centers can be shady. They have been known to misleadingly portray themselves as full-service women’s health clinics, or to obscure religious affiliations. They may offer discredited info on things like “the link between abortion and depression,” or engage in what some describe as bullying or pressuring women […]

Pro-life vid of the day: Student takes in pregnant cousin

by Hans Johnson Tommy Connolly, a 23-year-old Australian college student, heard from a 17-year-old cousin he hadn’t seen in 10 years through Facebook last December. “I went and picked her up and she basically started telling me about her situation, which was hard for me to hear because she was my favourite little cousin when […]
