Boo freaking hoo. You now have to actually grow up, get off the drugs, accept responsiblity for your actions, and make some sacrifices for another human being you helped to create.
Is it any wonder people are aborting left and right? They refuse to grow up and take responsibility for any of their actions. These lyrics are a perfect example of that.

Alright, I don’t like her outfit any more than anyone else, but do we have to tear down pregnant women more than they already are? It’s hard enough to dress with a baby belly, without having the constant criticism from the outside.

I think your comments are ludicrous, Mary Rose. We are not talking about the average pregnant woman. And I’m darn sure I’ve never made fun of any pregnant women before. I’ve been pregnant 9 times myself. But we are talking about a woman with an essentially limitless budget who makes a point year after year of parading her appearance to the entire world. It’s about all she does other than I believe a leaked sex tape every now and then.
And yet she still chose to have that outfit and coordinating gloves made just for her to wear to this event. This is not in any way shape or form the average woman desperately searching her closet at the end of her pregnancy for something that still fits. So, pardon me for laughing that a woman with that kind of money actually walked out the door looking for all intents and purposes like a sofa. I’ve never seen anything like it. The resemblance is truly uncanny. And it’s got nothing to do with being pregnant specifically. She’s wearing a truly enormous chintz outfit literally covering her entire body from neck to fingers to toes!
And lets be clear that she’s not struggling to do this. She has all the money in the world to do this and this is what she paid to have done for her. And pregnant or not no woman can pull off wearing a slip cover and not look ridiculous.

Oh, yes, it’s ludicrous not to want to tear someone down when the media is a CONSTANT BARRAGE of comments about how ugly/fat she is because she’s pregnant. I see. It isn’t reasonable to expect Christian charity towards the very wealthy, only the very poor.
I just think that a little kindness goes a long way, and the amount of nastiness I see spewed towards Kim Kardashian is probably part of the reason that she is so messed up. She’s been put in a place her entire life where all she knew was high praise or high criticism. And feeding into that only debases you.

Being praised and criticized? Its called life. Then don’t put your entire life and business out there for the world to see. Also, sex tapes aren’t a good idea either. Sorry, but I have a hard time seeing any of the Kardashian collection as victims, except maybe the younger daughters who have had to grow up around this influence.
KK is certainly not the first celebrity woman to catch flak for her preganancy/ non-pregancy related weight gain and clothes, and she won’t be the last.
I’m not defending her life choices. I am stating that she WAS one of the children who was exposed to this C**p during her childhood, and this is what she has been taught her entire life. She is still a young woman living with the fear of disappointing mommy and daddy in so many ways. That sort of spotlight is destructive to a healthy development, and she has never known anything BUT spotlight.
But hey, evidently if you’re rich enough or if you’ve made enough bad choices (without the benefit of a healthy childhood or caring guides), you don’t deserve our kindness, charity, or good intentions. Just nasty jabs.
If you don’t do it for Kim, consider the many other young women, some of them considering abortion as an “out”, who are being told that pregnancy makes “sexpots” like Kim Kardashian become hideously disfigured monsters, and maybe consider not feeding into that s**t.
BTW, praise and criticism isn’t the same thing as living a life that is devoid of stability, a life that exists in the extremes of HIGH praise or HIGH criticism. Which was my point.

People have difficult lives. Children spend their lives in refugee camps, warfare, horrendous poverty, sexual slavery and abuse. KK had wealth and the spotlight.
She’s a grown woman who made very foolish choices. We all have. However, the celebrity spotlight is what she chooses, no one forces her to do reality TV, no one forced her to do sex tapes, and these are the consequences of her choices. If its her choice to act low-rent, so be it.
Pregnancy is what it is. No, women should not be ridiculed for how they look. No one should be. But the world is full of such mindless idiots who need to get lives. Actually I’m glad to see women like KK who show pregnancy for what it is, not the celebrities who make it look glamorous and romantic, and in my opinion negatively influence very impressionable young girls.

I totally agree with everything you said. My point was to discourage the unnecessary nastiness and point out that she is a human being with human foibles and low jabs aren’t going to do anyone any good. If the comment had been about KK’s behavior, life choices, etc, and not a heedless attack, I would have had no qualms. But as it is, my comment was called “ludicrous” for saying, essentially, ‘hey, let’s not jump on the rag mag gossip bandwagon.’ It probably wasn’t the best wardrobe choice. So what? Is that a comment you would ever want to see made about you personally? Think about your most weight gain in your whole life, and a photo of you dressed up during that time, and someone says something akin to Marcella’s comment. Wouldn’t you want someone to gently rebuke her?
Yes, KK has made bad choices for which she will have to repent. Like Del, I audaciously hope that she will see her errors, that she will turn from her ways, and that she will prioritize the wellbeing of her daughter. I don’t think sex tapes are a good way of building a solid morality, and I can fully support a firm chastising from a close acquaintance, and appropriate media disapproval. The problem is, she is not getting the disapproval from the sex tape, but from a poor clothing choice. See my qualms?
Kanye, love him or hate him, is very popular and very influential. The idea that he will be gone in six months (mike cough cough) is laughable. He is one of the most successful artists in the game and his voice will be heard for years to come. I, for one, am pleased and enjoy the song.
