Coming in a newspaper near you: Hype
I blogged in July on the movie, Hype:The Obama Effect, which includes an interview with me on Barack Obama’s opposition to Born Alive.
Reported the Associated Press yesterday:
Readers of OH’s 3 largest newspapers, along with papers in FL and NV, are finding an anti-Barack Obama DVD in editions this week.
Citizens United, a conservative advocacy group based in Washington, plans to release a 95-minute film in the five swing-state publications to highlight Obama’s record on abortion rights, foreign policy and his past associations…. The group said it planned to spend more than $1 million to distribute about 1.25 million copies of Hype: The Obama Effect….
Readers of The Columbus Dispatch received their copy Tuesday. The Cincinnati Enquirer, The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer, The Palm Beach Post and the Las Vegas Review-Journal are scheduled to receive them in coming days.
The film raises questions about Obama’s political base in Chicago and the media’s reporting on Obama.
Among those interviewed are conservative columnist Robert Novak, former Clinton strategist-turned-pundit Dick Morris and former OH Secretary of State Ken Blackwell. Former AR Gov. Mike Huckabee, former PA Sen. Rick Santorum and discredited Obama critic Jerome Corsi also give interviews.
The first 4:18 of this video is an October 21 Fox News segment describing Hype and Democrat viewers’ reaction to it. The remainder of the video are cuts from Hype. Those who know Senator Patrick O’Malley can spot him at 7:00.

Ok, we give up. McCain has Obama just where he wants him- with over 306 electoral votes projected (270 needed to win) and significant leads for Obama in the remaining battleground states. Hence the last minute hysterics.
I enjoy the desperation, particularly of FOX/GOP, which has gone to an all-hate Obama all-the-time format. Fair and balanced.

Newsflash – Sean Hannity is not a newsman. His TV show, Hannity & Colmes, is a POLITICAL DEBATE show, not a news show. Of course he gives his personal opinions on it. But, of course, you Fascists for Obama would love to use the power of the federal government to silence Hannity and all dissenting views. Don’t worry; we’ll just get louder if you fools elect the worst candidate for the presidency of the United States of all time (that’s Barry Obama, by the way). And you’ll just have to send your little brownshirts to arrest us for violating the “speech codes” when we criticize Obama’s stupid-ass policies on a daily basis. I hope you don’t try to arrest any strong 2nd Amendment supporters, though. That could get ugly.

John, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the Obama administration. The hysterical fears by some on the right will not come to pass, and we’ll all realize that things will generally be the same, but with a more competent government trying to improve the economy, enviorment and foreign policy. No revolution here, just a change of leadership. Still the great USA we all love.

Sherwood brand Pirate’s Gold Milk Chocolate coins are being recalled due to the fact that they contain Melamine, the ingredient in milk products that has caused many infant deaths in China. These candies are sold at Costco, as well as many bulk and dollar stores. Please make sure to check your children’s Halloween candy and DO NOT LET THEM EAT THE PIRATE COINS (you know the ones wrapped in the shiny gold foil) and please let other parents know about this!
Also, I read somewhere else that any chocolate candies made in China that contain powdered milk should be considered suspect.

Simply because someone lives in West Hollywood does not make them gay. So to inferr this about someone’s sexuality in a manner meant to smear them even more is distasteful. With the same breath that I decry the hanging of Palin or Obama in effigy, I decry your lame attempt at laying blame on an entire people for the actions of someone you only suspect being a member of that (harmless) group. The latest I see is Rasmussen with Obama +5, traditional Gallup Obama + 5, and expanded Gallup Obama +7.
the national polls dont’ matter anyway, look at the state by state polls and the electorial college. This will be over early if FL, VA or OH go Obama.
