Oh yes, that’s right. We’re all men who want to shove religion down women’s throats. Stereotypes #1 and #2, precisely.
MemyselfandI , it’s not about religion although there is a religious connection. Killing is wrong with or without religion. Religion reminds us to treat others with kindness even if they act like savages or with ignorance. That’s what the above scripture reminds us.
I believe a child’s right to life transcends even religion. Abortion is such a horrendous thing; not only for the child, but for the mother. So many women are being tragically harmed by this. It might seem like such a good choice at first – the solving of such a serious problem – as it is the bringing into this world another human, one that must be cared for – how much easier just to get rid of the problem. However, that life, the life of the child, doesn’t begin at birth; that child’s life began at conception and so many abortive women must know that because, in my view, and my experience, it is a choice that many women never get over – the fact that their choice ended their child’s life. And, what about the child’s choice? Where does this tiny human being have a voice?
We are all sinners. It is just a matter of which sinners will repent and turn away from their wickedness and which ones won’t. It took several seeds to be planted in my life before I converted – may be the same case for others like me, i.e., the savage and ignorant. We must hope and pray that others will see the light just as we have ourselves.
In our age of information, ignorance is a choice.
Wow. Just wow. That woman in the picture…can you imagine if we threatened to cut off something? We threaten to cut off PP’s funding and get labeled terrorists! Imagine if we said we’d cut off certain body parts (ironic though…that is exactly what pro-aborts do–to unborn babies).
What a violent, hot-headed bunch. Of course this is the side that claims i’m misogynistic while also threatening to rape me and kill my kids.
I’ve said it many times: Pro-aborts believe that killing is an adequate solution to just about any sort of problem. So it is not surprising that they want to kill anyone who threatens to restrict their license to kill.
And we don’t need religion to tell us that murder is dead wrong. A moment’s reflection on the dignity of human life is sufficient, and there are plenty of agnostics and atheists who oppose abortion for strictly humanitarian reasons.
What our faith does is give us the courage to fight against the injustice and protect the innocent, even if that means facing threats and violence from the pro-aborts.
We are pro-life because we are human.
We pray on the sidewalks because we are Christian.
The part they miss altogether is that they are the very women who allowed sexual intercourse to take place and like magic a baby appears in their uterus! Its not the Popes fault …its not the fault of any church ..its not pro lifers faults. THEY don’t want to take responsibility!!
As one woman on FB said …you guys just want to punish a woman for getting a good l**! I was like Nope…that’s not what I said. Then she attempts to make it worse by bringing the rape arguments in and added..if any fetus invades my uterus it will be promptly sucked the blank out!
A fetus can only invade a uterus one way that I am aware of.
I was referring to the (old, tired) “rosaries” quote when I mentioned religion.
The rosary is an instrument of love. Too bad the signholders are oblivious to that fact.
The reason abortion has become so big is because we have allowed contraception to become so big. So now people think, ” if this fails, there’s always abortion to back me up.” Also another reason it is so common is because we have turned away from God and His Mother. We need to say a daily rosary. We need to Speak Truth, We need to Be Not Afraid. Christ will reward us. We have allowed abortions to take place for too long and we must end abortion! One abortion was too many! and One more abortion is too many as well. We must educate the youth. The world needs Jesus. We need to be real Catholic Christians! God Bless

Lorena was apparently forced to have an abortion by John, she said in an interview.
