These false teachers are stains and blemishes. They take pleasure in holding wild parties in broad daylight. They especially enjoy deceiving you while they eat with you. They’re always looking for an adulterous woman. They can’t stop looking for sin as they seduce people who aren’t sure of what they believe. Their minds are focused on their greed. They are cursed….
They arrogantly use nonsense to seduce people by appealing to their sexual desires, especially to sexual freedom. They seduce people who have just escaped from those who live in error. They promise these people freedom, but they themselves are slaves to corruption. A person is a slave to whatever he gives in to.
People can know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and escape the world’s filth. But if they get involved in this filth again and give in to it, they are worse off than they were before. It would have been better for them never to have known the way of life that God approves of than to know it and turn their backs on the holy life God told them to live. These proverbs have come true for them: “A dog goes back to its vomit,” and “A sow that has been washed goes back to roll around in the mud.”

My mothers friend is an excellent christian lady. She lives in Forida but I have gone to visit her a few times. Shes taught me so much about scripture because I do have trouble understanding it. She has explained to me that once you know the word of God and you go and sin again, you are going to feel awful. And BOY was she right. Now when I sin I feel awful and I have to make it right. Trying to learn to have less of a temper and to be more forgiving. Moms friend told me about having a reprobate mind and it scares me.
Before meeting Liz I was pro choice and accepting of gay marriage. I was into fornication and my life was wrecked with sin. My mother flew me from TN to Florida because I was a suicidal wreck. She helped me to get well with a hard nosed yet loving approach. She loves her daughter but will never accept her lifestyle. She is pro life. She explained to me that having sexual relationships with men before marriage was destroying me. I was thirsty for the info but Im so glad she gave me the truth!! And I really still wanted to believe my own way.
Sorry breaking this down into 3 posts. Her daughter was a lesbian. I made the mistake of saying “Why dont you just accept Janets lifestyle?” Whoa wrong thing to say! She said She would never accept it!!!! But now I get it. And now when young girls cry about their boyfriends mistreating them I TELL them…you are being used. Have him marry you or hes just using you for your body. Ive set my 21 year old daughter straight on this. Although she cant ever get pregnant d/t her ovarian cancer, shes still allowed herself to be used for sex. The same message ought to be applied to young men. My 20 year old son is still a virgin.

Well yeah, if she’s hot. Pigs often get a bad rap, but if they have a choice, they don’t go to the bathroom where they eat, and they’re no more dirty than dogs and cats if their environment is cool enough.
Pigs are really intelligent. It’s absolutely awful to eat them, IMO.
This part of scripture wishes you to ‘know’ Jesus. When the word ‘know’ is used in scripture, it has an added dimension of intimacy and not a list of attributes. Satan (in the latter sense) knows God thoroughly; Satan just DOES NOT love Him … doesn’t know that love is.
2 Peter Chapter 2 has a powerful correlation to what is going on in this world today. If you get a chance read the entire chapter. I have been draw back to this chapter over the last few weeks because of the ungodly events going on in my state and around the nation. The POTUS and his wife both sent emails promoting and celebrating “same-sex marriage” (a misnomer if I have ever heard one). People have the ability of practice whatever behaviors they choose, they do not get to rewrite God’s laws, God’s design, nor the biological, physiological, emotional, mental, social, hormonal, immunological and spiritual bonding principles for the purpose of a man, a woman, of marriage, or of children. We are already suffering many consequences but the consequences of flagrant, disobedience will affect every area of the nation especially harming our children (read 2 Peter 2). “Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach (a disgrace) to any people.” God will not be mocked, blasphemed and hold back his judgment forever. May God help us to turn back to him. 2 Chronicles 7:14 if my people that are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, turn from their wicked ways and seek my face….
Heather thanks for sharing your testimony. Your Christian mentor sounds like powerfully sound spiritual lady to me. I will pray for her daughter. I hope and pray that all is going well for you and your new husband.
