Pro-life video of the day: Why are babies so cute?

Believe it or not, scientists are trying to ascertain why we are so fond of babies. One of their ideas is that because human babies are so much more dependent, they’ve “evolved” a more pleasing appearance.

Or perhaps it just comes down to the enormous gulf between the human spirit or mind and that of an animal’s. We are programmed and taught to not only raise our children for a time, but to nurture them and guide them for as long as we live.
