From Sunday’s Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier:

WATERLOO [IA] – A group of Ascension Lutheran Church members spent Saturday morning resetting up hundreds of crosses that were knocked over Friday by a vandal who apparently disagreed with the church’s anti-abortion display….
About 1,600 crosses… were set up on church property in the memory of the thousands of children aborted every day….
A note was left behind at the trashed display that read that the crosses cannot be set up on private property.
“That’s ironic. It was on private property. It just so happens to be our private property. It was very legal to put up the display. We even talked to the city and had no problem,” said pastor Roger Twito.
