ah, I can’t bear to watch these videos again.:(
Just too too much.
All I can say is God bless America! And may God comfort all those who lost loved ones both in this attack and overseas in the various military campaigns.
Today is a day to remember the victims of 9/11; to remember all those who bravely gave their lives to save others; to remember that evil isn’t a relative term and that said evil stands against freedom as well as the dignity and value of a single human life; to remember that true heros stand against such true evil and have been/are willing to lay down their lives in combating it; to remember the fathers, mothers, daughters, sons, wives, husbands, children who went to work and never came home. May their families always be in our hearts and prayers and may their sacrifice be the driving force behind staying the course in the defense of the inalienable rights of human beings, created in the image of God. Heartbreaking, just heartbreaking., my prayers for those who died and their loved ones.
I don’t cry that often, but I do cry once a year like clockwork.
I pray that God continues to comfort the families of loved ones that were lost, and for His continued protection on our country.
God Bless America. please.
Kevin Cosgrove said he wasn’t ready to die. Whether or not that was what he meant, or if he was just saying he didn’t want to die, you can be ready to die.
We’ve all sinned. We are all guilty of breaking God’s laws. But He sent His Son Jesus to die for you and for me. If we will turn from living for ourselves, make Jesus the Lord of our lives and live for Him, His shed Blood will cleanse us from all our sin and unrighteousness. God the Father will adopt you into His Family and give you eternal life.
Fall on your knees right now. Call out to Jesus and tell Him you are sorry for your sins. Repent and be saved from the wrath to come.
If you’ve been saved but have struggled to live a life worthy of Him, you’re not alone.
Just spend some time worshipping Him. Tell Him how much you love Him, how much you appreciate His Goodness, His Lovingkindess, His Mercy, His Faithfulness…tell Him how much you appreciate Him going to the cross for you. Ask Him to baptize your heart afresh with the fire of His Holy Spirit. Ask Him for the grace to live a life worthy of Him.
To God be the Glory!
I was struck by Kevin’s comment, too, Ed, and weep that so many even in their finally moments do not know/care/choose to turn to the One who loves them more than they can fathom. None of us is guaranteed another day, don’t put off the most important decision of your life. Whatever holds you back, confess it and God will meet you right where you are and you can become a new creation in Christ!
Somethign I forgot to post yesterday, makes me bawl everytime:
