Quote of the Day, August 3, 2009
If the Hyde Amendment is effectively overturned, those Catholics and evangelical Christians who gave you the benefit of the doubt on the abortion issue because you promised to seek common ground will bolt in 2010 and 2012 and beyond.
~ America Magazine, Aug 3

So, essentially, the arts get nothing, the people of Darfur get help cut by over one billion dollars (with a “b”), single mothers are struggling, global warming, one in eight Americans go hungry…and the government wants to focus on paying for the infanticide.
I’ve never protested before, but if abortion is covered, then I’m putting together a “Save Darfur & the Children” march. This is ridiculous.
“…Catholics and evangelical Christians who gave you [pbho] the benefit of the doubt on the abortion issue because you promised to seek common ground will bolt in 2010 and 2012 and beyond.”

If these misguided mares haven’t already begun to bolt, you will find their charred remains standing exactly where they were while the barn they were stabled in burned down around them.
They should not have to wait for Holy Spirit to inform then in His still small voice that their pants are on fire.
The searing pain and the acrid stench of their own burning flesh should have already informed them of the painful reality.
GOD does not call stupidity a sin, but HE does frown upon it.
