Pelosi refuses to say when Jesus got the right to life
Ah, reporter Jane McGrath at CNS News has asked precisely the question I would have loved to ask Nancy Pelosi myself.
Recall in May Pelosi made this bizarre statement, given her radical abortion support, at the Catholic Community Conference in DC:
My favorite word? That is really easy. My favorite word is the Word, is the Word. And that is everything. It says it all for us. And you know the Biblical reference, you know the Gospel reference of the Word….
And that Word is, we have to give voice to what that means in terms of public policy that would be in keeping with the values of the Word. The Word. Isn’t it a beautiful word when you think of it? It just covers everything. The Word.
Fill it in with anything you want. But, of course, we know it means: ‘The Word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us.’ And that’s the great mystery of our faith. He will come again. He will come again. So, we have to make sure we’re prepared to answer in this life, or otherwise, as to how we have measured up.
It’s worth seeing again:
So at a July 29 press briefing, McGrath asked the perfect question to Pelosi in follow-up:
You said at a recent Catholic Community Conference that your favorite word was ‘The Word, as in the word made flesh,’ and that we need to quote, ‘give voice to what that means in terms of public policy that would be in keeping with the Word.’
So, when was the Word made flesh? Was it at the Annunciation, when Jesus was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, as the Creed says, or was it at the Nativity when he was born of the Virgin Mary? And when did the Word get the right to life?”
Oh, I can’t tell you how much I loved that question. And Pelosi’s bizarre-take-2 response, which is actually untrue, I might add:
Whenever it was, we bow our heads when we talk about it in church, and that’s where I’d like to talk about that.
I’ve checked with CNS, and the mostly inaudible statement Pelosi made after responding to McGrath – something about Williamsburg – had nothing to do with her response to McGrath. Pelosi was attempting to move on as quickly as possible, and it’s no wonder.
McGrath followed up with a written question:
… We’d like to clarify the speaker’s position on this: Did Jesus have the right to life from the moment of conception?
The Speaker’s office’s emailed response?
The speaker answered the question. Thanks.

Her friend Barbara Boxer can help her answer that. Jesus got his right to life when Mary decided to take him home.
Clearly, a Biblical ignoramus unfit to lead this great country proving it everyday by her lack of principled decision making; the foremost of which is her very anti-God, anti-Jesus, anti-life and anti-Bible pro-death, pro-abortion stance.
Hell waits for you with open arms M. Pelosi unless ye repent.
Naturally, Ms. Pelosi loves to bring religion into politics when and only when it suits her political agenda. How many spiritual leaders would advise you to leave God/religion at church, as you just advocated, Ms. Pelosi?
It would be prudent for Nancy to spend a large sum of time in prayerful reflection.
Cowardice, Ms. Pelosi. Your behavior is nothing short of cowardice, you CINO. Advocate of Cafeteria Catholicism. You are a whitewashed tomb!
Does it really matter? According to the story, the whole point of him being made flash was so he could be killed.
Every time that woman opens her mouth, something stupid comes out of it. It’s as dependable as the seasons.

Sure he came to die but as a Christian the most beautiful part of the story for me is that the grave could not hold him. And his death was not to advocate for death but that we might have life.

The changes look really nice.
What an incredibly intelligent question? How can she possibly believe in the Annunciation given her political track record.
I guess Nancy won’t be forced to answer this question until she dies. hmmm, I wonder what her response will be then when she knows the truth, perfectly and in its entirety.
Bravo, bravo to Jane McGrath! Oh I’d like to hug her right now for asking that question! Pelosi’s answer is not the end… no, she’s not going to get off that easy. She thinks she can twist the faith for her own profit, but she has twisted herself into a knot and she must be exposed for the complete fraud and charlatan that she is.
“Whenever it was…” says Nancy. But Nancy, what if it was at conception and the teenaged Virgin Mary had aborted while under the guidance of Planned Parenthood?
Her response indicates it doesn’t matter. but it does matter…Nancy should take time to reflect on her own life. She talks about how Jesus is coming again and how we will all answer for our lives, but she doesn’t really believe that or she would not stand there and defend the murder of children in the womb.
lol…
What an awesome question!!!
It could have been asked more directly though.
It’d be great if someone quoted the passage to her:
39 Now Mary arose in those days and went into the hill country with haste, to a city of Judah, 40 and entered the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth. 41 And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42 Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! 43 But why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
…and then asked her, “So Nancy, would you have supported the right of Elizabeth and Mary to terminate their pregnancies???”
Could you imagine the look on Mary and Elizabeth’s faces if Nancy was there and said, “You know, you two should really get your education before you start your families. I’ve got this great group I work with called Planned Parenthood that can get rid of those problems, those “babes” of yours.”
“You two really need to be empowered!”
Would Gloria Feldt, former president of Planned Parenthood have had a group hug with Mary and Elizabeth if they had “courageously” killed John the Baptist and the Lord Jesus Christ in the womb?
Great question!
Give Pelosi enough rope…
*it’s time to hold these CINO’s accountable, with the elections around the corner…

And had he been successfully aborted, I don’t think abortion would even be controversial. Death would be the norm because the life or light of this world would have been aborted. I think there are people who still seek to extinquish that light and in doing so the person they effect most is there own souls.
Question, the icon that is next to what we post how do we change the generic one that’s there.
“Fill it in with anything you want,” she says. Well, that pretty much sums it up doesn’t it.
Pelosi is a lying, two faced pig. She should be shot and fed to the murderous mobs that support her.
No Larry, we do not advocate violence in the womb or out of the womb. Pelosi is a pathetic woman who needs to have her eyes and her heart opened to the truth about her pro-death agenda. Our God is a God of mercy and grace who does not give us what we deserve. As prolifers, “We stand for LIFE”.
