Pro-life weekend video: Planned Parenthood supporter spits on Romney supporter
Abortion proponents are growing ever more uncivil as they sense the downfall of their deadly cause and beloved storefront, Planned Parenthood. From PostCrescent.com, August 17:
A bus tour event on behalf of Mitt Romney turned ugly Friday afternoon when a protester interrupted a rally and spit in a supporter’s face.
The event featured Wisconsin state Sen. Alberta Darling and Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch.
During Darling’s remarks, the protester, Mary Hoglund, 83, of Appleton, interrupted the event to ask about Republican opposition to Planned Parenthood.
A local Romney supporter began arguing with Hoglund, who then spit in her face.
I notice the newspaper did not call Planned Parenthood or President Obama to ask whether they condemned Hoglund’s boarish behavior, pardon the pun. Had the tables been turned (which I cannot imagine), we can rest assured the Romney campaign and entire pro-life movement would have stood accused of being uncouth pigs.

“Hog”lund living up to her name. You have to be one angry person to act the way she did. Wonder what kind of hurt she has in her life to make her act that way. Prayers definitely needed here.
No one should spit on anyone. About as bad as when the mentally disturbed Schenk brother (can’t remember which one) tried to shove a fetus in Al Gore’s face. Bunch of sick people out there.
I wonder what our resident trolls think of this behavior. Wait…maybe the spitter was one of them!
Jerry, what’s a little spit?? We’re taking this WAY too seriously.
What else would you expect from people that slaughter innocent babies and maim women?
Haven’t watched the video lately but I do NOT agree with the “whats a little spit” comment. When I was a retail manager I had to chase shoplifters and I had one run out of my store and turn around and hocked a loogie on me. In my face. I had my hand in a fist and I almost punched her but I didn’t want to get arrested.
Btw, spitting on someone is considered assault (in some jurisdictions)
Why is an 83 year-old woman such a rabid supporter of PP anyway? It’s not as if she’s protesting her “reproductive rights”.
I agree, Maria. There’s “something” behind that kind of anger.
Bodily fluids have the potential to spread infectious diseases regardless of one’s age. This video could be used as evidence. She should go to the state attorney’s office and ask them to file battery charges on this woman. It could be Class I felony.
I agree, too, Pam, about the anger.
Lol, Jerry, I was thinking the same thing! Could it have been CC or Joan?!
