Pro-life video of the day: Bodily autonomy

Abortion rights supporters used to advocate that the unborn aren’t human beings in order to justify abortion. Obviously, that has been long disproven due to science. Now they must find another excuse to justify killing the unborn, namely ”bodily autonomy.” But is it really true that you have the right to terminate a life that is dependent upon your own?

My book club read a novel dealing with a similar topic. It was entitled “My Sister’s Keeper.” A girl was conceived and born so her parents could use her healthy body parts to keep her sister who was ill alive. When the girl was a teenager, she went to an attorney asking him to apply for “medical emancipation” for her. She wanted this because her parents planned to transplant her kidney into her sister. She wanted to prevent the transplant.
The attorney asked, “What will happen if your sister doesn’t get your kidney?”
The girl answered, “She’ll die.” But she still insisted that she wanted to be able to refuse the transplant.

God bless them and their mom and dad! They do look happy and they are here for a reason or God wouldn’t have put them here. People need to put themselves in people’s shoes and think how they would want to be treated if they were in their situation before they open their mouths.

Governments draft young men into the military to protect the country.
Pregnancy can be viewed as a kind of “nature’s draft” of girls and women to perpetuate the species. Thus, anti-abortion laws would be similar to laws against draft dodging.
