No new posts this weekend….
I’m monitoring comments and will jump in if/when I can, but I won’t post anything new this weekend. Grandsons #1 and #2 are visiting.
I read a verse this morning and thought of some of you:
Stand at the crossroads and look.
Ask which paths are the old, reliable paths.
Ask which way leads to blessings.
Live that way, and find rest for your souls.
~ Jeremiah 6:16
Have a great weekend, everyone.
Your grandchildren are ADORABLE! :) I’m sure you’ll have a fun day with them.
Great verse too! :)
Thanks for the verse, I like it.
Your Grandkids are so cute, have fun playing!
By the way, grandson #2 looks exactly like you!
Enjoy your time with your grandsons!
Addendum to Jeremiah:
Then force others to believe that your path is the one and true path despite having any evidence in support of this.
~Jeremiah 6:17
MagicTony,
Force? Sorry, I just don’t see it.
Explain…

MK:
Do you know what the Bible says true religion is?
James 1:27….
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
I know of no more appropriate discussion than to discuss true religion than on this site since murdered babies are orphans. Their parents have abandoned them and I vow to visit them and defend them on this site and in doing so fight the absolute filth being rpewed by pro-deathers.Do you know what the Bible says true religion is?

HisMan,
6 Bless those who persecute (you), bless and do not curse them. 15
Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. 16
Have the same regard for one another; do not be haughty but associate with the lowly; do not be wise in your own estimation. 17
Do not repay anyone evil for evil; be concerned for what is noble in the sight of all. 18
If possible, on your part, live at peace with all. 19
Beloved, do not look for revenge but leave room for the wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” 20
Rather, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals upon his head.” 21
Do not be conquered by evil but conquer evil with good.
Romans 12:14-21
All I’m saying is that it ain’t over til it’s over and I will try to win with love, not take over with anger.
I love your passion, I love your zeal, and I think your heart is in the right place. I do not begrudge you your ways. Please don’t begrudge me mine.
Jesus only showed anger once. But every other encounter he had with a sinner was done with gentleness and mercy.
I have never once compromised my faith, never once watered down the truth, never once condoned a single evil behavior on this site. I have pointed out every error I have seen. But I have done so with the utmost respect for the people I have been dealing with. This is why I am treated with respect. I show mercy, I am given mercy. I show kindness, I am repaid with kindness. I treat others as I wish to be treated. I believe these girls will learn more by my actions than my words. By their fruits you will know them. We shall see.
Peace, my friend,
MK
Magic Tony, 3/25, 11:46a: Check again. Jeremiah 6:17 actually says, interestingly enough, “But you reply,
DoctorDefense, 3/25, 12;02p: I agree you’re on the defense. And it’s no wonder. Soooo 1970’s.
Doctor Defense,
You sound like the “soup nazi” except your the “freedom nazi”. No freedom for you!
Personally, I suggest you read alllll the posts available and read what has already been said. Then get back to us. You were late to class and you missed a lot of material.
MK
I live in the area where Dr. Slepian was killed. I love how there were pro-life supports at James Kopp’s trail. Made me sick.
Doctor Demento, I mean, Defense,
let’s see ladies and gentlemen:
The score is: Our team: 1 billion babies worldwide dead at the hands of abortion doctors.
Your team: a handful of abortion doctors killed by a few unstable souls.
hmmmmm….I think we’ve got you on this one.
But you keep tryin!
“Actually the name “Doctor Defense” refers to our support for violent counterterrorist action against the family members of those right-to-lifers who commit terrorism against abortion doctors.”
Personally I think you have to much time on your hands. Maybe a hobby like stamp collecting, or you could get a dog?
MK
I remember when Bernard Slepian was killed.I’m sure that the rtls @ the trial were there to support and pray for James Kopp, not to cheer him on! You see,it’s not a ‘One for our team’ and ‘One for Your team’ kind of thing at all! We are defending all life.Bernard Slepian performed abortions .From what I understand,he also delivered babies.Bernard’s life was no less important than is James Kopps. The victims of abortion are definitely no less important. They are innocent.4000 abortions will happen today in America.4000 children will die,and it will happen again tomorrow.
MK,I just went back and read your posts. Well said. The freedom nazi,,,,-loved it!
Mom,
Good point. So actually, these doctors etc., are also victims of the abortion industry.
MK
Yes,MK.They are.
Dr.Death, oops I meant Dr.Defense, must be good friends with SOMG.They work together at Planned Barenhood.
Jill, have a great time with your grandsons. They are beautiful children!
Dear Jill,
I have read your column on World net daily. I think you are making good points regarding abortion. I am undecided about abortion, though.
Do you think abortion is really murder? If yes, why?
Do you think it is always unjustified?
And why do you think women would want to have an abortion? Some seem selfish to me. Or do they not have enough help?
Thanks
Joey
Joey, yes, abortion is murder. It kills an innocent human being, the definition of murder. The human being is simply preborn.
The baby’s location is irrelevant, just as whether you are in your house or out of it is irrelevant as to whether you exist and are worthy of the unalienable right to life, as the Declaration of Independence states.
A preborn human’s level of development is irrelevant. Humans are always developing. Some stop at a certain point, some never get far. This doesn’t change the fact they exist and must be protected.
The argument that a baby’s location inside her mother makes her property to dispose of at her whim is identical to the argument slave owners used.
Over 90% of women abort for conveniece. Only somewhere between 3-7% total abort for life of the mother, health of the mother, fetal anamolies, or rape/incest. The rest abort as a primary or secondary means of birth control.
No, I do not think it is ever justified, except in extremely rare cases when the mother will certainly die if she does not abort, such as with an ectopic pregnancy.
Thanks for asking my opinion, Joey.
Joey,
I would also get a pro-choice perspective on this. Jill makes is sound like pro-choicers are evil people and like to abort for the hell of it.
I would just like to add that the location of the fetus has to do with everything in this argument. In addition, body autonomy is not the same argument that the slaveowners used. Those slaves were not physically inside or attached to their slaveowners. They were independant beings outside of another’s body.
Hi MK, Momof3, and DoctorDefence,
maybe I’ll give quite a different understanding of the meaning of freedom. Much to often people think that this means only a selection of ideas … the ones in opposition are the ‘freeing’ ones. However, freedom (like peace) is at the core of what human beings are. At its very basic level freedom is an extension of being … . An extension to another human is a great freedom. [this is why marriage is ‘freeing’ and 2 become 1]. The extension to an unlimited being (God), is the ultimate freedom. Catherine Daugherty (Canada), says … when God extends Himself to us… this is liberation! Are these ‘pearls cast before swine’?
Your grandkids are too cute not to comment!
I would agree, Jill, that the whole “my body is my property” argument is identical to the arg for slavery, if, in fact, the slaves were working and living in the womb. Unlike external things that humans think they have ownership of, you actually are the only one owning and carting around your organs.
So, it’s very unlike slavery. I really don’t own anything except what I’ve got on the inside. And, unlike property, my organs cannot be removed without my consent.
Yeah, didn’t say much on this topic. Wonder why? Because there isn’t a legitimate argument against it?
