Dominick’s has erected a fence
Received information from reader Dennis that beginning at 10p last night and completed by 11:30p, a fencing company erected a fence around the perimeter of the vacant lot owned by Safeway/Dominicks across from Planned Parenthood Aurora.
Just spoke with Eric Scheidler, who has also received the same information from numerous sources. He is going to the site to take pictures. Will post when up. The fence is apparently an 8-foot chain link.

Wow, they sure are causing a lot of trouble. They are causing it for themselves as well as others. Keep the pressure on!
Hmmm….PP is getting to be expensive for Dominick’s…firt they put up the “parking for customers only” signs around their lot, then they hired extra people to make sure those signs are enforced …now this chain-link fence…I wonder what’s next?
At least we know where they stand on the issue…
We must be doing something right! This shows how effective our presence is in keeping would be clients away. PP is in panic mode. They don’t have a fraction of the volume they want and now they are doing everything they can to keep us out of the picture. If we persevere in witness and prayer the Holy Spirit will continue to guide.
I’ve been MIA for a while..
What interesting stuff have I missed??
BREAKING NEWS!
I HAVE A FENCE AROUND MY PROPERTY!

hello midnite!!!
midnite, I was thinking about you being LOA yesterday. I hope you are well.
What a waste of money- It’s simply going to come down wants the lot is occupied.

How do you get from point A to point B? Did you notice the part where it’s not PP, but Dominick’s that erected the fence? And that not having people loitering on vacant lots is usually a good reason for erecting fences?
Laura,

It keeps me in.
It’s much like those safari parks. People enjoy driving through and watching me feed, play, groom and mate in my natural habitat.
See, abortion patients is da reperducktive breeders. Dey jus kill what dey breed. *gives a toothless smile*
Good news. We have had some success with the 40 Days For Life campaign in my neck of the woods. At the clinic I pray infront of, no one came in for an abortion yesterday(it is one of their aboriton days and Friday is the other). We had more people than ever before. There were more thumbs up than middle fingers. How do I know that they didn’t just change the times to avoid a big throng of prolifers? I heard it directly from the horse’s mouth. Lmao, PP should really not be so forthcoming on the phone. They should take more time to figure out who they are actually talking too!!
Praise the Lord, Carrie!
Theresa, weell howdee, I likes dem darn spinny tings too. Heather, I no goes to da dentist. To buzy doin’ dat protesting. *flashes toothless grin and shakes dandruff out of hair and onto table*

And let us not forget “spinning shiny objects”!
I’ve been uber busy with school and work. Urgh, my life is boring…
Ooooooh!
I found one that will bedazzle and offend everybody! Check out the holiday items too…

Carrie, LOL! Ya, I lives in da back woods. I heats my water on da stove an I have 1 perty tooth ta calls my own. Gosh, stooping sure is fun sometimes.
Bah, I have a bad feeling that we’re going to start getting water rationing down here soon. Have you guys heard how bad the drought has gotten in Georgia? Metro Atlanta’s main source of water and power, Lake Lanier, is expected to be a mudhole in about 3 months. We’re under a total watering bad. It SUCKS.
No Erin, I hadn’t heard about that. So, do you all have to limit your water use? I haven’t been watching the news. As a matter of fact, there was a school shooting 2 days ago here. I didn’t hear about it until yesterday. Kind of like the one in Colorado.
Yah, the one in Ohio? I heard about that. Ugh. But yes, we’re not allowed to use any water outside- no landscaping, washing cars, etc. We’re having golf courses and such shut down because they can’t keep the green watered. We’re going to be on the ban for at least a year- and I’m expecting rationing to happen in the next month or so.

Welcome to the consequences of overpopulation. Stretch the ability of the earth to provide food and water to its limits, and when the earth comes up short, we go hungry or thirsty. Enjoy!
Erin, yep. That’s the one.
Are we really overpopulated? I thought that 34 years of legalized abortion was going to solve that too.
Hmmm…maternal death. Baby containers. Decreased abortion rates…

Check it.
It’s not really just overpopulation- Atlanta’s been in a massive boom for several years, and experiencing huge growth rates. Apparently the area could only hold out for so long. It’s a dry southern area- and we’ve pushed the resources to the brink.
“Are we really overpopulated? I thought that 34 years of legalized abortion was going to solve that too.”
Turns out abortion has lowered the birth rate much, just delayed the age at which women have their children.
Hal, did you ever watch that abortion video? If so, any feedback?
not yet. maybe tonight or this weekend. Busy around here right now.
Oh, it only takes about 5 minutes tops. Just click on real quick. It will soon fall off the thread.

He can’t. Rational people don’t display a screen full of bloody vagina at their place of emploment.
Heather- you read my article, I’ll watch your video.
Erin, I did. Let me read it again. I’m trying to run around and get a few things done before work, and try to type @ the same time . Actually, I was directing that at Hal. He has avoided that video twice. I had a boob job, and I can watch that on cable with no problems at all. Why can’t Hal watch it?
“Have you watched the abortion video? please let us know what your thoughts are.”
can’t right now, too busy debating the creation of existance with Hisman. (thank God he’s back)
Seriously, though, I’m at work and would prefer to watch it later. I promise i will and get back to you all.

Hal, *shakes finger* are you making excuses? Okay, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt.
Posted by: heather at October 12, 2007 8:46 AM************************* Hal’s first excuse.
not yet. maybe tonight or this weekend. Busy around here right now.
Posted by: Hal at October 12, 2007 1:16 PM*************************** Hal’s second cop out.
That video isn’t even 5 minutes long. Can’t you make the time?
Erin, did your door bell stop smoking? What happened? Was it a short?
Carol: Thanks for your reply. According to published reports, PP has been in constant contact with Dominicks trying to get them to do something to eliminate the strong pro-life presence across from their entrance. PP would not really care if the pro-life presence was inconsequential. But obviously it is, hence their putting the pressure on Dominicks. A to B.
Yuck. Bloody. But then, a lot of ER shows are too. The video doesn’t really bother me. Though that one lady seemed to be bleeding waaaay more than normal.
Heather- it got stuck when the pizza guy rang it, and the charge just built up until it started to burn.
Why do rational people at “work” type on pro life blogs? When I go to work, I am working.

HAH!
That’s EXACTLY what I said.
I think that D&C was performed to stop the hemmoraging after an incomplete spontaneous abortion.
Erin, thank you for watching. MMMM, pizza! I am going to a fish fry before I hit work. I usually get the shrimp dinner though. Excellent!
Okay, 2 down. Where is Hal?

1) I can post from work.
2) You must be able to post from work. Either that or you have some 3-hr. workdays.
Ohh, I love fish. I’m the only person in my family who likes seafood, so I never get it. It makes me very sad :-(
Erin,
I looked at the article you posted

Here is another about the issues involved in foreign aid.
http://www.cato.org/pubs/pas/pa065.html
I vote for increased immigration limits. Sending money there just goes in the pockets of corrupt leaders. It would be cheaper to fly those people here and get them going with jobs to grow our economy,
give me your tired, poor
huddled masses
etc, etc,
but hey, I’m a flaming liberal.
I have 3 hour work days sometimes. Usually 3-5. Waitressing is fun!
I am actually not working that much. I have just enrolled in school again, and I have not taken a FT job until I figure out my school schedule. Soon I will be doing both.
Waitressing is fun?
Calculus is easier than waitressing.
I made it through two semesters of calc, but could’t make it one day of waitressing without getting sent back to the kitchen.
I had clams the other day. Those rock!
“Calculus is easier than waitressing.”
Word.
Heh, I know it’s kinda weird. But I really honestly enjoy waitressing. I get a kick out of serving people. Plus I work with awesome people. I just like my job.
I did it too. I loved it.
Erin, I’m sure you will agree that tips come in handy too.
And that! Tips are good!
Lol, I work at a fish fry, too.
When I took anthropology the professor said that everyone has bias.
When we look at health situations like those in the article posted by Erin, it is easy to look at it from a western perspective, but we need to see our own bias.
I am sure that all of us here want conditions to improve for these women. Let’s look at our own assuptions.
Would some women be more likely to continue a pregnancy if their conditions were better, like their economic situation, if they had the opportunity to get better obstetric care etc.
Even if safer abortions are made available, they will get pregnant again, almost certainly under the same conditions.
To get big results (like lower maternal mortality) you have to make big changes in society.
This is why maternal mortality is used as an indicator of the health status of a nation, specifically because only large scale changes in health care will affect it.
Do you guys have Arthur Treatures in Georgia? I love their fish and chips. Couldn’t get enough of it while I was pregnant.
I just butchered that spelling. Sorry for going off topic. I think I’m gettin hungry.
Oh, I don’t think so. Sounds good, though! I’m hungry too…I’m making some mini tacos before I head to work in an hour. Fridays are good tip nights!
I’ll see you all later. gotta roll. I always procrastinate @@. That’s why I am always late. *waves goodbye*
Erin,
from that same site you posted from:
‘Political will’
Although 99% of newborn deaths and 98% of maternal deaths occur in the developing world, Save the Children says political will matters more than national wealth in tackling these deaths.
It says Colombia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Vietnam, Eritrea and Tajikistan are among developing nations doing an “admirable job” in investing in services and education that improve the prospects for mothers and infants, despite limited resources.
Such countries improve their prospects for economic growth and development, says the report, which points out that babies who receive an unhealthy start in life tend to be sicklier, less productive adults.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/4752913.stm
Erin, be careful with your wrists – carpal tunnel is a fairly common problem for waiters and waitresses.
Yuck. Bloody. But then, a lot of ER shows are too. The video doesn’t really bother me. Though that one lady seemed to be bleeding waaaay more than normal.

Yes,
I’m sure they took a woman who was hemorrhaging and just before she passed out from blood loss had her sign a a stack of release forms stating it would be just dandy for some film crew to come in and document the loss of her baby so they could put it on the internet for the world to see.
It was a pro-choicer that was so proud of her “choice” she couldn’t wait to show it to the world. Unfortunately, the doctor in his rush to get the procedure over quickly (time is money you know), perforated her cervix and thus…extensive blood loss.
PS
I wonder if the woman lived. You know how abortion mills hate to call 911 and all.
Sandy to the rescue!!
Sandy,
Good points. Tiller’s staff couldn’t quite comprehend the importance of calling 911 when Christen Gilbert collapsed and needed CPR. I understand it took up to 40-45 minutes for them to call.
I’ve heard of schoolchildren, and even family pets, exercising better judgement.
In our OR, we always have film crews on standby to film women hemorrhaging after a miscarriage, even if it is an unusual occurance. I can count on one hand the times that I have seen it happen over the years. You’re quite right though, it can be tricky to get those release forms signed before her blood pressure bottoms out.
Mary, lol. I thought the same thing. That procedure was elective.

I don’t suppose you ever watch Life in the ER?
Dozens and dozens and dozens of people allow their emergency treatment footage to be aired.
Heck, how many people are going to recognize the D&C patient from that angle. (It’s not exactly her best side…)
Are we really overpopulated? I thought that 34 years of legalized abortion was going to solve that too.
No Heather. It helps some as far as what you’re talking about, but the population is still growing, and the resource usage increases more than that, for the per-capita consumption is going up.
Doug
