Regifting heaven
Priests for Life was kind to send me a copy of Anthony DeStefano’s book, A Travel Guide to Heaven, for Christmas. Anthony is the executive director of PFL as well as a prolific author.
But Anthony previously gave me a copy of his book.
I’m sure Anthony and PFL would want this book read rather than shelved.
So, I’ll send this copy to the first person who emails me with his or her mailing address (who hasn’t recently won something here… :).
I emailed you!
Good luck, Elizabeth!! :)
Congrats, Elizabeth, you were the first respondent to follow instructions (include mailing address)! Contest over, you won!
Congratulations, Elizabeth! :D
Hey, no fair – this contest is biased toward early-risers.
(Congratulations, Elizabeth!)
Yaaaay, thanks so much! After I’m done reading, I’m going to give it to my grandma to read because she loves books like that! I never win anything, so I’m pretty excited haha.
“Hey, no fair – this contest is biased toward early-risers.”
Yeah really, Doug. I was being puked on at that hour!
Bobby, my wife and I were still in our winter slumbers. We’re “late owls” as opposed to early-risers.
“Regifting Heaven” – love it. Jill, you know how to turn a good phrase.
I read this book a while ago and think I posted about it a few months ago…it’s quite interesting.
You’ll enjoy it Elizabeth. It really gives a different interpretation of what heaven will be like. I’ll be able to hit high notes, eat lunch with Padre Pio in Paris and have tea with mother Teresa in the alps. I’ll have a hundred dogs and fly my own plane. And that’s just on Tuesday!
Zeke would hate this book, which is the best recommendation I can give it;)
Doug, thanks… :)
