A racist Planned Parenthood caught on tape to host “Karaoke and Condoms” fundraiser tonight
Well, this is rich.
The very day The Advocate releases its 2nd in a series of video exposés showing another pair of Planned Parenthoods willing to take bucks to abort blacks, one of the twisted twins spotlighted, Planned Parenthood of Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma, is hosting a funder tonight, “Cocktails for the Cause: Karaoke and Condoms,” according to Tulsa World….
The Advocate’s Lila Rose has confirmed this PP is the very one where staffer Susan Riggs responded to an actor-donor wanting to donate specifically to off black babies by saying, “We can definitely designate it for an African-American.”
Would love to be a dot on the wallpaper tonight. Wonder if any blacks will be in attendance?
Speaking of, dots will be one of the featured designs in PP’s new line of condoms, called Proper Attire, to be unveiled tonight, quoting TW:
In addition to signing up to sing your favorite karaoke song, the event will showcase a new safe-sex fashion statement: Proper Attire, a new line of prophylactics designed to encourage women to feel more comfortable carrying and buying condoms.
“Some women are embarrassed to purchase and carry condoms,” said Nancy Kachel, president/CEO of PPAEO…. “With its trendy feel and fashionable packaging, women have the opportunity to be both safer and fashionable.” Available in a three-pack for $6, Proper Attire will be sold at boutique shops and exclusive hotels.
Interesting that these are male and not female condoms. Seems sexist to me. Oh, and cute advertising slogan:

Sigh. But nice girl that I am, I can’t help myself from warning even the enemy from trusting PP condoms to guard against pregnancy and STDs. In 2005 Consumer Reports reported condoms in general have a 15% failure rate, but yikes, it ranked PP’s condoms as 2nd to last and last of 23 tested.

Patricia, your crass and vulgar is many people’s clever and witty. And that’s what sells, and we all know that Planned Parenthood is only after our money and would never, EVER do anything to try to protect people (rolls eyes). The whole idea of these new condoms is to make the whole condom-buying process more acceptable and “fashionable,” if you will, for women. More women using condoms = less unintended pregnancies. And to Jill- why is it sexist for women to be more inspired to protect themselves, no matter the avenue for it? Should they be female condoms that people have no idea how to use, and are thus much more likely to fail? I’ve never met anyone who has used, or even seen, a female condom. Using condoms is never sexist. It’s sexist for women not to be able to choose whether or not they want to have safe sex.

Sorry “am” but I simply don’t agree. I think condoms are crass and vulgar and totally disgusting. Especially for something that was meant to be the ultimate expression of love and bonding between a man and a woman who are married.

Because it’s been driven into girls and women that if you carry or purchase condoms, you’re a dirty slut. When guys do it, they’re seen as studs. How fair is that?

The reason that this is being done to only male condoms is probably because it’s one of the most commonly used forms of contraceptive, are very effective, and are readily avalible at any store or pharmacy. It’s not because it’s sexist, for Pete’s sake.

errr, by who? I never felt like a dirty slut when I bought them and I never got funny looks from the cashier either. Wouldn’t one think it would be the opposite? Everybody when they buy them should get a free candy bar or something because they’re supposedly doing something smart, right?
What’s the stigma for if you’re doing something so great and smart?

I charge a house with a nice yard in a good neighborhood, a pretty ring, a nice wedding I can design myself and invite all my friends and family and unending love, complete honesty and fidelity, mutual respect and understanding and the occasional adventure.

While some of us are using condoms that fail, the rest of us are practicing abstinence that fails. Hehehe.
My AP chem teacher in high school made us calculate “stupid human error” into our experiments. Of course, stupid human errors resulted in lower grades than mechanical failure of our experiments…
Even today, I’d rather get pregnant out of mechanical failure rather than stupid human error.

Question: If it’s possible to accidentally remove your clothes and accidentally take part in intercourse, then how is it that condoms work? After all, how do you know when you’re going to accidentally have sex so you can use the condom? Do condoms end up being used by accident, too?
