Tonight on Larry King
Tonight on Larry King will be a discussion of the women’s vote now that Sarah Palin is in the race.
Featured will be pro-lifers MN Rep. Michele Bachmann and former Bush advisor Karen Hughes, and pro-aborts Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards and Huffington Post editor Hilary Rosen.
Who in the hell watches LARRY KING????
I mean, seriously!
If they were on the SAVAGE NATION tonight then that would be news.
Well, I for one will watch the old relic when he has someone interesting on his show. I just understand in advance that he only asks “softball” questions, so I don’t expect any surprises.
Larry King is a pro-abort himnself and an awful at discussing serious issues.
I only watch it when I am trying to fall asleep!
Ezek: Who in the hell watches LARRY KING???? I mean, seriously!
SG: Anyone interested in softball questions, largely originating from the last thing the interviewee has just said … Or people who want ta watch interviewees take Larry out for a walk on … ‘their’ leash.
Snerd
I’m sure watching it will just make me sick…
guess who Larry King has on his show for the 1st half hour to bash Sarah Palin? Joy Behar….LOL.
No, no bias there…what a joke.
I watched Larry King once when he had NSYNC on (in 2001) but I don’t otherwise waste my time watching him.
Hey John McCain is up by 20% in NC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I watched the discussion on Palin and her Pro Life views. In the discussion, Karen Hughes kept referring tonight about the 3 AM phone call and she kept saying that McCain-Palin had foreign policy experience and so he-she would be the best of the presidential candidates to answer such a call if it ever happened. But, I am really concerned that John McCain would not be in any shape to handle such a call since he apparently takes Ambien CR sometimes for sleeping. His medical report last spring said that Ambien CR was what he took for helping him sleep, when needed. Now I don’t know if he responds to it like my house mate does when she takes it, but she is completely out of it if you try to wake her in the middle of the night when on Ambien CR. And it is only after coffee, usually rather toward noon before she makes a lot of sense. And, Ambien CR is known to cause loss of memory of sometimes hours of activity of sleep walking, eating and other activities during sleep, so you often do things in the middle of the night that you don’t even remember the next day. So, I don’t know that the 3am phone call idea is a sound one for a McCain supporter to toot, Karen. He may not even know what he does in the middle of the night. His reported reliance on Ambien CR for sleep sure has me worried about McCain’s ability to govern if needed in the middle of the night. I prefer a prescription drug free president like Obama with full consciousness and memory who would always have full consciousness even at 3 am. It may really be No way, No How, No McCain Before Noon!
you guys sure are good for a laugh.
Mart Love,
I think you’re stretching too hard to find a reason to disqualify McCain from the Presidency. For one, probably half of the population of the U.S. 40 years old and over takes some form of prescription medication. Whether or not he is currently taking Ambien is unknown. Everyone reacts differently to medications as well – I’m sure he is being well taken care of by his doctor who understands the effects of the prescriptions he/she prescribes.

He may be awake at 3 am..but would Obaminator have the experience and the balls to make a military/strategic decision w/o consulting his 300+ advisers OR would this be above his “pay grade”…..hey, maybe he can just say “present”?
Am very glad I was able to monitor all segments of the show w/ these four women.
Could not be prouder of Bachmann & Hughes!! (Veep possibilities for prez-candidate Palin in 2012?!!? We’ll see!!)
Cecile & H. Rosen, neither of whom demonstrated a heart-felt fight, looked like they had clenched teeth while either Michele or Karen spoke. The formers were left in the dust by the latters, it was clear.
Being aware of the discourse in segments like these, even if offered by L. King (snore), only helps us — never hurts. King’s producers often invite exceptional spokespeople to represent Life — Kelly Anne Conway, Dennis Prager, Bachmann, Malkin, Tantaros. We are thankful for that!
Xalisae, you don’t even think McCain’s reliance on Ambien CR for sleeping is something to look for more information about at all? You just trust his doctor, whoever he/she is? Maybe it is fine, but you have to admit that it is a good question since lots of people do not function really while under its spell. We do still care enough to question and research the truth, don’t we?
RSD, I’m sorry, you don’t make any sense to me. Are you speaking in code words or tongue? Or are you just an angry person mixing apples and oranges of sound bites to project an unfounded fear?

What talking points memo did you get the Ambien line from? Just sitting at home creating your own smears, or did you get it from someone higher on the Obama food chain?
You better check the Kool aid you are downing, it’s making you a bit wacky!!!
LB. Karen Hughes kept bringing up the 3am thing on Larry King’s panel on Palin this week and I just have been wondering about that medical report last spring (surely you didn’t miss that in the news) about McCain’s health. It stated that he took Ambien CR for sleep when needed. I am a caregiver and have been taking care of a lady who has been taking this drug and so I have been wondering how the president of the United States could possibly be on it. I am sure this is not in the talking points of the Democrats, at least I have never seen anything on it anywhere. Maybe it should be, I just think it is worth a discussion and looking in to in order to get the real data. Does he or does he not take it and how does it effect him? You don’t know, do you? The drug is approved in his medical report. Do you need me to google the medical report for you? Do you need me to google the side effects many people report on Ambien CR? Not saying that he does or does not sleep like a brick unable to awake if called upon or any of the side effects that many people report taking it, just saying that pressing the 3 am thing could open a can of worms, and certainly an intelligent investigation. Ambien CR often causes memory problems until 7 or 8 hours after the drug is taken. This is not a problem if you can sleep 8 hours, but if you have to suddenly get up at 3 am for a national emergence, well you go figure that one. And if he is on that drug, the American people should know its effect on him, if 3 am is such an issue as republicans like Karen Hughes keep bringing up.

The whole reasoning is pretty weak. I believe the 3am argument goes beyond wakefulness to judgement. As the record shows, Obama has a poor track record of picking advisors (Rev. Wright, Ayers, et al.) and also has never lead anything beyond a failed education grant project.
If all you have is the Ambien thing, well it’s pretty weak.
The Ambien CR problem is a drop in the bucket to why I would not trust McCain as my commander-chief. I thought we might just start there since it actually effects performance at 3 am and the 3am thing was brought up again by Karen Hughes in this show we are suppose to be commenting upon. But you seem to want to brush it under the rug by expounding with your talking points.
Obama can’t run hisself so why would i want him to be president
Obama can’t run hisself so why would i want him to be president

Luke, he probably has better legs than you do.
Another pro-life female political rising star
World magazine included an inspiring feature story about Republican Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann in its October 4/11 edition. I became aware and impressed by Bachmann during her stand to defund Planned Parenthood as well as her debate on Larry King …
