No treats for you!
A McCain supporter who took a cue from Jerry Seinfeld’s Soup Nazi, refused treats this Halloween to children of Obama supporters…
Gotta say that had I determined to politicize Halloween, I would have just handed out McCain literature with treats, not withheld treats from innocent children.
That said, Obama is all for killing children before they ever see their first Halloween, so why are his supporters wound up about an anti-Obama supporter denying their born kids a little candy?

I believe NObama is the most evil candidate that has ever ran for President, and I am hoping and praying for his defeat tomorrow, but I disagree with this lady.
That’s not a fair thing to do to kids. Leave them out of politics.
It shows how polarized the country has become, and can give kids (and adults) a very unfavorable impression of McCain supporters.
Not a great way to get your point across.
What a stupid woman. Why the hell is she punishing kids for their parents’ political decisions?
Technically, the neighbor’s sign said “Obama for Mercedes-Benz,” and not “Obama for Peace.” Not to nitpick, but if you’re gonna attempt a peace sign, do it right!
Joanne and Rae, I agree.
Joanne and Rae, I agree.
And I always agree with Bethany, so me too.
If I were a kid and she was my neighbor and she pulled that crap with me- she ought to expect a yard full of toilet paper, eggs on her house and possibly some paintballs shot at her house too.
Or if I knew it was going to be freezing the next day- I’d soap her windows.
My father taught me well.

Maybe there’s something in the water in that neighborhood. People on both sides appear to be lacking brain cells.
Come on, Rae, tell us what you’d really do.
@Doug: Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Reality, stop with the wild exaggerations or you’ll be banned for a week. I’ve had enough of them coming from you.
This woman is pro choice. Looks like the parents teach intolerance to a woman that expresses her choice. By the way. Grosse point is very high income. They will get nailed by the Obama tax plans. Just a side not. It very high income neighborhoods, the non neighborhood children get bused in by packed car loads. It is not uncommon to see 500% more tricker treaters than in the neighborhoods with young children.
And I always agree with Bethany, so me too.
LOL Doug.
LOL-Maybe she’s teaching the kids a lesson in spreading/redistributing the wealth :)
One poster used the expression “punishing children”. where is it written that not giving candy to children is punishment? Is it a violation of some law to not give out candy?
The other is taking one of Obama’s expressions. He mentions “send price signals”. I see i have never thought of that. She is sending price signals. You agree with US and you get candy. That is the price.
Those people just sound bitter. Now at least their neighbors know how terribly bitter and mean they are. (Makes for an interesting PTA meeting.) The posters above are right- it makes McCain supporters seem really intolerant, the election really seems to bring out the crazy in people.
So is this what life will be like if McCain gets elected?
“I’m sorry Jimmy but your parents are democrats, you can’t play on this playground.”
And wasn’t everyone on the google thread telling me that it is illegal to discriminate based on political or religious beliefs? I don’t see this woman being carted off to jail…
I don’t agree with what this lady did, but I also don’t agree with Nobama hawking votes on the Cartoon Network or Nickleodeon.
I hope and pray he does not get elected tomorrow, but if he does, guaranteed he will not make it through his term. He has made so many false promises he can’t begin to keep, he will go down in flames or be impeached when all of the truths about this idiot come out.
Also, did anyone see the clip of the minister who made a rude gesture towards Sean Hannity at a rally over the weekend? It was as bad as flipping someone off. I think he is the new minister at the old church that Nobama said he left.
Anyone?? Anyone???
Sandy
Nick Kids Pick the President haven’t been right in years — they picked Kerry 4 years ago, and I remember when they picked Michael Dukakis in 1988.
What this woman did was ridiculous — but seriously, I’ve read some supporters of Obama are voting for him because “He’s not Bush” or “He’s younger than McCain”.
I’m continuing to storm Heaven with my Prayers.
Sandy,
I saw the clip of the minister making a gesture as he mentioned Hannity;s name, but I didn’t think it was as bad flipping him off. You think so? Hannity just laughed. I thought it was kind of funny as in “immature funny”. I think you are right about him being a minister at Obama’s Chicago church.
What’s with the talk about impeachment? I’ve heard it a few times now….
. . . . . . . . .
Jess, It’s OK to discriminate in the confines of your own home. Maybe next year they should send out the Halloween police? Then we’d be a truly socialist country.
xppc: One poster used the expression “punishing children”. where is it written that not giving candy to children is punishment?
Well, to give candy to some kids but not to others is just plain pretty bad….
This woman showed poor judgment and was snubbing the wrong demographic. Maybe she should have talked to the parents of the kidlings while they ate their candy??
No more block parties for her!!!
Obama voters should have gotten those gummy eyeballs and ears and noses along with pro-life literature.
People please, it’s a piece of candy, not a kidney.
Adlyn,
People please, it’s a piece of candy, not a kidney.
Good one. She actually did the Dem kids a favor. Fewer cavities.
:-)
I think it was sad to do that. I understand Obamas veiws and do not agree with them, but I would NEVER turn a child away on halloween. They are too young to understand the reason for her views and only see her as mean.
