When you heard about the Freedom of Choice Act was your initial reaction something like…”WTF?!” That is the reaction most people have on both sides. This legislation is extreme and it will not pass if we have an informed and active public.
Peter Breen, executive director of the Thomas More Society, in an interview with Students for Life, explained the history of FOCA, its present form, and how we can realistically expect it to be passed: in bits and pieces.

FOCA is just one step closer to mandatory screening and force termination of defective babies. The mantra will be “90% is not enough!” referring to the fact the 90% of down syndrome pregnancies are terminated.
Even my left wing lunatic sister did not avail herself of that “choice.” Conor is 6 years old now. He uses sign language because his enlarged tongue. He attends public school and has specialist assigned to him every second of every day in school at a cost of $50,000 over that of regular students. And that is why they will be shouting “90% is not enough.”
After all, the “pro-choice” crowd is only pro-choice when we make the choices they approve of.

CALGARY, Alberta (Feb. 5) – A 60-year-old woman in the Western Canadian city of Calgary has given birth to twins after going to India for fertility treatments, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp reported on its website Thursday.
