Here were the April 29 headlines…

And here were a few of the actual facts, according to Mercury News, April 28…
Following the advice of county lawyers, supervisors Tuesday reinstated [Planned Parenthood’s] grant…. The board had suspended the contract because the nonprofit organization offers abortions.
After voting to reinstate the contract, supervisors then voted to create a new policy that will make it more difficult for PP and some other community clinics to qualify for the grant in the future.
Among other things, the new policy says services can’t be provided in the same place where abortions are performed.
And here are the rest of the facts. Jivin J reported last month that the Orange Co. (CA) Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to cut funding to PP, in part due to Lila Rose’s videos showing PP helps cover up child rape.
On the advice of attorneys the board decided to finish out PP’s contract, which ends in JUNE. Then the board immediately passed tighter restrictions targeting PP: No more funding for “health” education, and no funding can go to services provided where abortions are committed.
Nice try, LAT.

The MSM’s feeble attempts to veil the truth to look like “they” are winning….no wonder subscription to “regular” MSM newspapers are declining at an alarming rate…
and did I hear correctly that the MSM TV news stations are also having a decline in viewership?
LATimes is insolvent. Part of it is there are billions too much debt behind the enterprise for it to pay debt service. The decline in readership is not just content. News papers are often more than a day late on news. I check all the days sports results during the games. a paper reports the next day.
