Randall Terry on Hannity last night
Randall Terry was on Sean Hannity’s show last night discussing the Notre Dame debacle. He appeared in the place of Alan Keyes, who was still in jail when the show was taped. Hannity also announced his show Sunday night will spotlight Obama’s appearance there that day.
I spoke last night at The Center for Women’s annual banquet in Brevard, NC, and am flying to Chicago this morning and then driving to South Bend to begin blogging from the Notre Dame area this afternoon. Will also be mini-blogging on Twitter and Facebook, so I hope you’re signed up to follow me!
Gosh, wasn’t it just a few days ago Jill said she would not promote the antics of Terry and Keyes?
Apparently professional courtesy among publicity seekers requires them to promote each other.
will Keyes be out of jail for the activities tomorrow?
Will they let him out?
I will be praying for all of the activities that are planned at ND and all of the people that are involved.
I will pray for the safety of the police, campus security and Secret Service who have to deal with the nut cases.
Trying to recall, is Mr. Pious Catholic Randall Terry working on his third or fourth marriage? I know Pious Catholic Newt Gingrich is on his third.
When you pray, Bystander, be sure to listen for the voice of God.
It is so awesome that you will be praying! I’m sure your Father is looking forward to hearing from you.
It is quite unfortunate that Randall Terry and Alan Keyes have become the face of pro-life opposition to Obama at Commencement.
And I, for one, find it rather misleading that the talks about the travesty of these arrests on campus. Keyes et al SET OUT to get arrested; they know it will happen and it comes as no surprise. If they stay outside the gates, they won’t be bothered.
I really don’t even understand the need to protest on Friday and Saturday. These are days for the graduates and their families; Obama is no where to be found. Of course NDSP is going to keep disruptive, unpermitted protesters off-campus. It only makes sense.
They have made plenty of concessions for on-campus protests the day of Commencement–when Obama will ACTUALLY be around. Give all of the students, including the pro-life graduates who are having the only graduation celebrations they can, some peace on campus as they take in these last few celebratory days before Commencement. Please.
anon, acting reasonably and respectfully would take all the fun out of it!
Provide a name, anon.
Thanks.
Bystander, say an extra Hail Mary for me.
I will pray for the safety of the police, campus security and Secret Service who have to deal with the nut cases.
Posted by: Bystander at May 16, 2009 8:27 AM———————————————————— You mean when Obama and the liberal drones arrive on campus?
I’m not even a Catholic, but I applaud those who have given a voice to the unborn. Ah, yes, I know about all the liberal refuse that sit in the pews and call themselves “Catholic.” If I were a Catholic, I would tell them, start a new church like Luther did, or else be a Catholic in actuality. If you don’t like what the Church teaches, leave and start a new one like Luther did.

I just tuned in to this site from a note I saw in a news story.
All of this hype and assorted news stories about the US President and his policies/feelings about things like abortion, gay rights, war, stem cell research and a lot more to me is disturbing. I don’t mean ‘disturbing’ with regard to the content, but rather to the fact that we are complaining about it!
I don’t care for Mr. Obama and did not vote for him. However, I have to give him his due in the fact that he is showing the colors he presented during his campaign and is putting forth exactly what he said he would do…..and those who are complaining now should have did what I did and not voted for him!
We are stuck with him for the next 4 or 8(ugh!) years so we may as well get ready to go down the tubes!
These people who get on news programs will say whatever they have to do to get ratings and asked back on the shows. I believe none of them. In fact, I am not sure who to believe any more.
With the President giving the Commencement Speech at Notre Dame being a case in point—he has been given the opportunity to use his God-given ability of a silver tongue to make an impression!
We cannot blame him for using the opportunity. Where do the people who seek him out come from? Why would they ask a person who in many personifies all that they do not believe in to speak? One has to wonder if the Hallowed Walls of Knowledge our kids are inside of really have Educational Leaders at the helm.
I do watch Fox News as they appear to have some idea of fair reporting and it is not just a catch phrase.
Thanks for the time.
