Quote of the Day, July 26, 2009
This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses.
Now choose life that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice and hold fast to him.
~ Deuteronomy 30:19, New International Version

Amen!
That says it all, right there.
Choosing life implies saying “NO” to indiscriminate sex.
It would seem to me that based on the Genesis decrees that reproduction is part of the essence of creation and experience shows us that sex results in reproduction regardless of our marital status.
(God’s words do not return to HIM til they have accomplished the tasks HE intended. I read something like that more than one place in the ‘book’.)
This one reason our biology does not seem to pay much attention to our opinions.
But unlike animals, humans are NOT creatures who are subject to their basic instincts.
Though we are not immune to the influence of the reproductive ‘urege’ we can determine how and when we yield to it.
We are the crown of God’s creation and we can choose to overule our innate desire to copulate when it is not right.
It is interesting to note that there are ‘blessings’ (plural) associated with choosing life and there are ‘curses’ associtated with choosing death.
George Tiller choose death and death more abundantly and as a result he received compounded curses, NOT the least of which was an inability to hear GOD’s voice and to enter into an intimate relationship with HIM.
How do you think this little slogan would sell in the world today:
“Choose death that you and your children may hate the LORD your GOD and die and have ears that do not hear HIS voice, consequently rejecting HIM and HIS blessing for you and yours.”
There is the humanistic plan for eternal damnation.
Any one want to sign on to that deal?
Just get in line with the goats over there on the ‘LEFT’.
