Quote of the Day 2-13-10
Where do they find these people???
I found some videos that I would love to share with you. I feel that these serve as a reminder of the ignorance that is
consuming much of the American population presently. We can definitely
see that people are not doing their homework before protesting on these
key issues. Ignorance, like this, is running rampant in our country
today.
40 Days for Life is an anti-abortion organization whose campaigns
encourage anti-abortion extremists to lay siege to Planned Parenthoods
and other womyn’s health care clinics across the country. Their next
campaign will be running Feb. 17th through March 28th…. harassing patients, doctors and staff and distributing false
information….
~ Choices Campus Blog, February 12

I started watching the video without reading the full quote and where it came from. Thus I was expecting to see a handful of “pro-choicers” in the video holding their signs and shouting their usual meaningless slogans. In the debate on abortion, “ignorance” is well entrenched in the pro-choice mentality.
There is ignorance-a-plenty in the pro-abort movement whether it be scientific, logical, or moral.
NO surprise to see “angryblackbitch” “bitchblog” and “bitch Ph.D” among the blog roll. Yikes! The last one reminds us that some of the most educated among us are the most ignorant.
false information like REAL FETAL DEVELOPMENT information and information on services provided for FREE by CPCs?
Or the stuff they call false like the risks of abortion like premature births for future pregnancies, increase in breast cancer risk, damaged cervix, emotional problems, possible suicide risk, etc, etc, etc…….
“Where do they find these people???”
On every Main street, in every town, in this great country of ours, thank God.
If you’ve never stood witness at an abortion clinic, do it today. You’ll never be the same. You’ll want to do more for LIFE.
After looking the guy up on Google (yes, I do this when encountering any new writer, just to see what kinda stuff they do on a regular basis on and off the blog) I found another post which I just found TOO IRONIC!!! Let’s share:
Name:Frank Perez
Age:24
Location:Los Angeles
Occupation:Student
1. Why do you Identify as a feminist?
I identify myself as a feminist for several reasons:
A. I believe in universal morality that allows for all human being to be equal and have the same rights regardless of any difference that are perceived.
(Unless you’re in the womb!)
B. I believe that our socialized gender roles are harmful to women and thus do not allow them to be all that they can be.
(and totally ignore that legalized abortion allows men to sexually exploit women, furthering these unfair gender roles and turning them into objects for gratification…but I guess that’s ok if the feminists have convinced themselves over the years that that is what they’ve wanted all along? :/)
C. I believe that we can no longer sit by as the injustice of inequality keeps all humans beings from achieving their goals and are forced into subjugation.
(Or death by abortion…but I guess that being ripped apart/forcefully removed from your mother to die isn’t as bad as not “achieving their goals and…forced into subjugation”)
2. What Kind of feminist issue interest you?
Sex trafficking and the sexual exploitation of women, equality in the work environment which includes conditions, pay, and benefits, reproductive freedoms and women’s health care issues.
(And by “reproductive freedoms” and “women’s health care issues”, he means the “freedom” to kill your child in utero. I guess his concern only extends to BORN women. If you’re a female in the womb, get bent.)
3. What kind of work do you do in your field of interest?
I work diligently in the humanistic field that encompasses feminist issues, I am an active member of the FMLA chapter at my school and work side by side with other feminist on my campus on raising awareness on the injustices that women face.
(Once again, all while SUPPORTING an injustice that kills roughly 2000 female humans every single day.)
4. Who are your feminist heroes?
Some of my feminist heroins are Dolores Huerta, Sor Juana De LA Cruz, Hillary Clinton, and Betty Friedan to name a few.
(At least he didn’t say Margaret Sanger, lol)
5. If you could say one thing to all the women and girls in the world what would it be?
Never allow yourself to be devalued, you are human and that means that regardless of race, class, or gender you are an equal member of the human collective.
(“…race, class, or gender…” but not age. If you’re too young, then tough luck, he thinks it should be legal to kill you. LOL, equality. )
But if you read a little further, you’ll find he’s trying to equate us with the good Phelps people at “God Hates Fags”.com who also protest at soldiers’ funerals and lovely things like that.
I left a comment stating how disingenuous that was, and a link to plagal.org, but they have to approve comments before they post them, so I doubt it will be allowed.
This gave me a good laugh! I participated in 40 Days for Life in Ohio this past fall. I met nothing but lovely people who pray quietly on public property, and respectfully answer questions when approached.
Have participated in two 40 Days for Life. I don’t think I heard a peep out of any of us.
The sight of all those pink and blue balloons made me cry. To think of all those little boys and girls…their mommies will never know them. It just breaks my heart.
And to see the abortionist sitting there…old, sad…why was he there? Maybe he is searching for answers as he nears the end of his life. May he find God’s forgiveness. I will specifically pray for him tonight. God loves us all so much. He is waiting with open arms to all who come to Him.
