yup that works. Deny that it’s a baby. Deny your nature to be a mother and nuture and protect your baby.
I fear for this poor woman when someday, her eyes are opened to the truth.
Sadly, I know there will be all too many women who have had the same experience, waiting to help her.
I wonder if there are similar quotes from other serial killers?
You know, something along the lines of “It helps to think of your victims as cockroaches, or diseased rats…”
This quote is probably the most literal dehumanization of the unborn I’ve ever read.
You can think of an unborn baby as anything you want. Doesn’t make it true.
Denial is a powerful thing.
Carmen is using abortion as a birth control method. Maybe she should practice celibacy until she is ready to raise another child. She should go for counseling to her pastor or a trusted friend because she is obviously troubled if she has to deceive herself this way.
