Jill, your hair is just stunning.
Auburn is definitely your color. Nice highlights.
Rock their world, girlfriend.

Dude, I just read Bomberger’s bio.
No wonder his “Too Many Aborted” videos are incredible. He walked the walk. Literally!

This is off-topic but my son’s girlfriend (I hate the term “baby mamma”) is having a little boy. Little Isaiah Jr. is going to be born in May. Remember that this situation is not the best to bring a new life into the world, so please keep my family in your prayers. Especially prayer for the girl’s grandfather, that God will soften his racist heart (he said that the baby should be thrown in the Delaware River) :-(

phillymiss,
I will keep your family and hers in my prayers. Hopefully his (the grandfather’s) heart will melt when he lays eyes on his beautiful new grandson. Maybe it’s Gods plan to take his racism away, but understandably still not easy for all of you. God bless.

Oh my goodness… phillymiss, I’m praying for all of you.

Praying for your family also. Goodness. Mostly, though, we find grandparents and parents soften when they see the new baby. Hopefully God will soften his heart.

Thank you for the well wishes, folks. This man is an alcoholic and he has plenty of issues.

Phillymiss–I offered up a prayer for the situation. That’s rough!

I hope so too, Joy. A coworker told me about a woman she knows who had a half black baby when she was quite young (fourteen). The girl’s mother said that she “didn’t want any n*ggers in the family,” and placed him for adoption, even though the girl badly wanted to keep the child. The baby was adopted by a black family. The story does have a happy ending, though — when he became an adult, the young man got to meet his birthmother, who is now 34, and they keep in close contact.

There’s not any way to post comments on the “Blog For Choice” post anymore on here (I don’t know if that’s a glitch or on purpose).
I tried emailing the NARAL blog to find out why my question “What is ‘the true meaning of choice'” (based off of one of their commenter’s posts) kept getting deleted. I got an email message back in my SPAM folder saying that the email was UNDELIVERABLE!
I don’t get it…even when I send a polite email asking why they won’t dialogue with us, even when I wasn’t being rude and everything they STILL won’t accept anything I say.

The abortionists are scared of the truth. Simple as that.

I will be praying for your family as well phillymiss. God is the only one that can change hearts.
Speaking of the racial issue, Jill thank you for posting the picture of Dr. Alveda King and the information on her “Save the Life Center’s Campaign” I always get a chuckle when the pro-aborts who post here claim “abortion helps poor, minority women come out of poverty” and they label pro-lifers as ”sexist, racist bigots who want to keep women enslaved to carrying their babies to term”, guess Dr. Alveda King, Ryan Bomberger, Star Parker, Rev. Walter Hoye and other African Americans are deserving of these names as well. LOL.

The only bad thing about biracial people is that so many of them seem to be so much more attractive than the rest of us! :)

I think both Abby and Lila made excellent points about doing our homework. And I’d suggest — especially in the wake of the Kermit Gosnell story — that we pick up the ball we’ve dropped. We need to be digging for dirt on these guys and staying on top of them.
With that in mind, I called my local PP (since we don’t have an abortion facility) to find out where they refer women. They got really squirrely on me, insisting that I call their HQ in Pittsburgh. I’ve assigned that task to my daughter’s friend, who is actuall a PP patient.
I get the sneaking suspicion that a LOT of “trusted health care providers” were referring to Gosnell if patients were past the legal limit. Those with money got sent to Tiller, and the poor got sent to Gosnell. The combination of squirreliness and testiness just seems fishy to me.
I’ll keep people updated on my blog.
